Sie geifern, führen vermessene Reden; es überheben sich alle Übelthäter.
¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras, y se vanagloriarán todos los que obran iniquidad?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
Dein Volk, Jahwe, zermalmen sie und dein Besitztum bedrücken sie.
A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan, y á tu heredad afligen.
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

Witwen und Fremdlinge würgen sie und die Waisen morden sie
A la viuda y al extanjero matan, y á los huérfanos quitan la vida.
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

und wähnen: “Jah sieht es nicht und der Gott Jakobs merkt es nicht.”
Y dijeron: No verá JAH, ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob.
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Merkt doch auf, ihr Unvernünftigen im Volke! und ihr Thoren - wann wollt ihr klug werden?
Entended, necios del pueblo; y vosotros fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
Der das Ohr gepflanzt hat, sollte der nicht hören? der das Auge gebildet, sollte der nicht sehen?
El que plantó el oído, ¿no oirá? el que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

Der Völker in Zucht hält, sollte der nicht strafen - er, der die Menschen Erkenntnis lehrt?
El que castiga las gentes, ¿no reprenderá? ¿no sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia?
He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
Jahwe kennt die Gedanken der Menschen, denn sie sind ein bloßer Hauch.

Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, en tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.

Denn Jahwe wird sein Volk nicht verstoßen, noch sein Besitztum preisgeben.
