Ensálzate, oh Juez de la tierra: da el pago á los soberbios.
Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
Wie lange sollen Frevler, Herr,wie lange sollen Frevler noch frohlocken
¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, se gozarán los impíos?

und geifernd so Vermessenes redenund alle Übeltäter so sich brüsten
¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras, y se vanagloriarán todos los que obran iniquidad?
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
Sie treten, Herr, Dein Volk.Die ewig Deinen quälen sie,
A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan, y á tu heredad afligen.
They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
They break your people in pieces, LORD, and afflict your heritage.
erwürgen Fremdlinge und Witwenund morden Waisen, sprechend:
A la viuda y al extanjero matan, y á los huérfanos quitan la vida.
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

"Der Herr sieht's nicht;nicht merkt es Jakobs Gott."
Y dijeron: No verá JAH, ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob.
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
They say, “The LORD will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”
Ihr Albernen im Volke werdet klug!Ihr Törichten! Wann wollt ihr das begreifen?
Entended, necios del pueblo; y vosotros fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
Nicht hören sollte, der das Ohr erschafft?Nicht sehen, der das Auge hat gebildet?
El que plantó el oído, ¿no oirá? el que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?
Nicht strafen sollte, der die Heidenvölker züchtigt?Er, der den Menschen Einsicht schenkt?
El que castiga las gentes, ¿no reprenderá? ¿no sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia?
He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
Die menschlichen Gedanken kennt der Herr,wie sie so eitel sind. -
Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres, que son vanidad.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Dem Manne Heil, den Du erziehst, o Herr,aus Deiner Lehre ihn belehrst,
Bienaventurado el hombre á quien tú, JAH, castigares, y en tu ley lo instruyeres;
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

ihn ob des Bösen Glück beruhigend,bis daß gegraben ist die Grube für den Frevler:
Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, en tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

Noch immer sitzt er zu Gericht;ihm fallen alle frommen Herzen zu."
Sino que el juicio será vuelto á justicia, y en pos de ella irán todos los rectos de corazón.

Wer steht mir gegen Bösewichter bei?Wer tritt für mich den Übles Tuenden entgegen?
¿Quién se levantará por mí contra los malignos? ¿quién estará por mí contra los que obran iniquidad?
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

Wenn nicht der Herr mein Beistand wäre,dann läge meine Seele bald im Reich der Stille.
Si no me ayudara Jehová, presto morara mi alma en el silencio.

Hat schon des Unrechts Stuhl der aufgestellt,der Unheil dem Gesetz bereitet?
¿Juntaráse contigo el trono de iniquidades, que forma agravio en el mandamiento?
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?
Sie klagen fromme Seelen an;unschuldig Blut verdammen sie. -
Pónense en corros contra la vida del justo, y condenan la sangre inocente.

Y él hará tornar sobre ellos su iniquidad, y los destruirá por su propia maldad; los talará Jehová nuestro Dios.
