Salmo de Asaph. CIERTAMENTE bueno es Dios á Israel, á los limpios de corazón.
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
Cependant mon pied fut bien près de broncher ; un rien eût déroulé mes pas ;

car j'enviais les superbes : j'avais le bonheur des impies sous les yeux.

Car ils sont exempts de douleurs jusqu'à leur mort, et leur corps est bien entretenu ;
Porque no hay ataduras para su muerte; antes su fortaleza está entera.
For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

ils sont en dehors des peines des mortels, et comme les humains ils ne sont point frappés.
No están ellos en el trabajo humano; ni son azotados con los otros hombres.
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
They are free from burdens of men, neither are they plagued like other men.
Aussi, comme un collier l'orgueil les entoure, et comme un habit la violence les revêt.
Por tanto soberbia los corona: cúbrense de vestido de violencia.
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
Therefore pride is like a chain around their neck. Violence covers them like a garment.
L'embonpoint rend leurs yeux saillants, et les pensées de leur cœur se produisent.
Sus ojos están salidos de gruesos: logran con creces los antojos del corazón.
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
Their eyes bulge with fat. Their minds pass the limits of conceit.
Ils sont moqueurs, et parlent méchamment ; de leur hauteur ils parlent d'opprimer ;
Soltáronse, y hablan con maldad de hacer violencia; hablan con altanería.
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
They scoff and speak with malice. In arrogance, they threaten oppression.
de leur bouche ils affrontent le ciel même, et leur langue se démène sur la terre.
Ponen en el cielo su boca, y su lengua pasea la tierra.
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
They have set their mouth in the heavens. Their tongue walks through the earth.
Aussi, c'est de ce côté que Son peuple se tourne ; il veut aussi s'abreuver aux eaux abondantes,
Por eso su pueblo vuelve aquí, y aguas de lleno les son exprimidas.
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
Therefore their people return to them, and they drink up waters of abundance.
et dit : « Comment Dieu prendrait-il connaissance, et le Tout-puissant aurait-Il la science ? »
Y dicen: ¿Cómo sabe Dios? ¿y hay conocimiento en lo alto?
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
They say, “How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”
Les voilà ces impies ! et toujours tranquilles ils grossissent leurs trésors.
He aquí estos impíos, sin ser turbados del mundo, alcanzaron riquezas.
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches.
C'est en pure perte que je gardai mon cœur net, et que je lavai mes mains dans l'innocence ;

Alors je réfléchis, pour me rendre compte de ces choses ; c'était à mes yeux une tâche difficile,
Pensaré pues para saber esto: es á mis ojos duro trabajo,
When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;

jusqu'à ce que, pénétrant dans les sanctuaires de Dieu, je fis attention à la fin de ces hommes
Hasta que venido al santuario de Dios, entenderé la postrimería de ellos.
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
until I entered God’s sanctuary, and considered their latter end.
Tu ne les as placés que sur un sol glissant ; tu les fait tomber, et ils sont en ruine.
Ciertamente los has puesto en deslizaderos; en asolamientos los harás caer.
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction.
Comme ils sont anéantis tout à coup, emportés et détruits par une chute soudaine !
¡Cómo han sido asolados! ¡cuán en un punto! Acabáronse, fenecieron con turbaciones.
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors.
Tel un songe au réveil, ainsi, les réveillant, Seigneur, tu mets avec mépris leur fantôme à néant.
Como sueño del que despierta, así, Señor, cuando despertares, menospreciarás sus apariencias.
As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
As a dream when one wakes up, so, Lord, when you awake, you will despise their fantasies.
Quand mon cœur s'exaspérait, et que dans mes reins je sentais l'aiguillon,
Desazonóse á la verdad mi corazón, y en mis riñones sentía punzadas.
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

alors j'étais stupide, et dans l'ignorance, j'étais disposé comme une brute envers toi.
Mas yo era ignorante, y no entendía: era como una bestia acerca de ti.

Cependant je te demeurai toujours attaché ; tu me pris par la main, par ma droite.
Con todo, yo siempre estuve contigo: trabaste de mi mano derecha.

Qui ai-je dans les Cieux ? Et auprès de toi je n'aime rien sur la terre.
¿A quién tengo yo en los cielos? Y fuera de ti nada deseo en la tierra.
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Que mon cœur et ma chair soient consumés, le rocher de mon cœur et ma part, c'est Dieu, à jamais !

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Car voici, ceux qui te désertent, périssent ; tu détruis tous ceux qui loin de toi vont se prostituer.

For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
For, behold, those who are far from you shall perish. You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.
Mais pour moi, être près de Dieu, c'est mon bien. Je mets ma confiance dans le Seigneur, l'Éternel, afin de pouvoir raconter toutes tes œuvres.
Y en cuanto á mí, el acercarme á Dios es el bien: he puesto en el Señor Jehová mi esperanza, para contar todas tus obras.
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.
