2Jahwe blickte vom Himmel herab auf die Menschenkinder, um zu sehen, ob es einen Klugen gebe, einen, der nach Gott frage.
3Alles war abgewichen, insgesamt zeigten sie sich verdorben; da war keiner, der Gutes that - auch nicht einer!
4Haben's denn nicht erfahren alle Übelthäter, die mein Volk verzehrten, wie man Brot verzehrt, Jahwe nicht anriefen?
5Daselbst erbebten sie, erbebten - denn Gott ist in dem frommen Geschlecht!
6Den Ratschlag des Elenden mögt ihr immerhin zu Schanden machen, denn Jahwe ist seine Zuflucht.
7Ach, daß doch vom Zion die Hilfe für Israel käme! Wenn Jahwe das Geschick seines Volkes wendet, wird Jakob frohlocken, Israel fröhlich sein!

1Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. DIJO el necio en su corazón: No hay Dios. Corrompiéronse, hicieron obras abominables; no hay quien haga bien.
2Jehová miró desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres, por ver si había algún entendido, que buscara á Dios.
3Todos declinaron, juntamente se han corrompido: no hay quien haga bien, no hay ni siquiera uno.
4¿No tendrán conocimiento todos los que obran iniquidad, que devoran á mi pueblo como si pan comiesen, y á Jehová no invocaron?
5Allí temblaron de espanto; porque Dios está con la nación de los justos.
6El consejo del pobre habéis escarnecido, por cuanto Jehová es su esperanza.
7¡Quién diese de Sión la salud de Israel! En tornando Jehová la cautividad de su pueblo, se gozará Jacob, y alegraráse Israel.

1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
5There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

1The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.
2The LORD looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.
3They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on the LORD?
5There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6You frustrate the plan of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
