Cántico gradual. MUCHO me han angustiado desde mi juventud, puede decir ahora Israel;
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say:
Ils m'ont fort tourmenté dès ma jeunesse, mais ils n'ont pas prévalu sur moi.
Mucho me han angustiado desde mi juventud; mas no prevalecieron contra mí.
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me.
Des laboureurs ont labouré mon dos; ils y ont tracé tout au long leurs sillons.
Sobre mis espaldas araron los aradores: hicieron largos surcos.
The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

L'Éternel est juste; il a coupé les cordes des méchants.
Jehová es justo; cortó las coyundas de los impíos.
The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Tous ceux qui haïssent Sion seront rendus honteux et repoussés en arrière.
Serán avergonzados y vueltos atrás todos los que aborrecen á Sión.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion.
Ils seront comme l'herbe des toits, qui sèche avant qu'elle monte en tuyau;
Serán como la hierba de los tejados, que se seca antes que crezca:
Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

Dont le moissonneur ne remplit pas sa main, ni le lieur de gerbes ses bras;
De la cual no hinchió segador su mano, ni sus brazos el que hace gavillas.
Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
with which the reaper doesn’t fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.
Et dont les passants ne disent pas: La bénédiction de l'Éternel soit sur vous! Nous vous bénissons au nom de l'Éternel!
Ni dijeron los que pasaban: Bendición de Jehová sea sobre vosotros; os bendecimos en el nombre de Jehová.
Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
Neither do those who go by say, “The blessing of the LORD be on you. We bless you in the LORD’s name.”
