WOHL denen, die unsträflich wandeln, / die das Gesetz des Herrn befolgen! / (1) dieser Psalm baut sich im Grundtext künstlich auf dem hebr. Alphabet auf. Die Anfangsbuchstaben der 22 Strophen ergeben zusammengereiht das hebr. Alphabet. Ausserdem beginnen jeweils alle acht Verse einer Strophe mit dem gleichen Buchstaben. (a) Ps 1:1 2

ALEPH. BIENAVENTURADOS los perfectos de camino; los que andan en la ley de Jehová.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the LORD’s law.

Wohl denen, die seine Vorschriften beachten, / die ihn von ganzem Herzen suchen, /

Bienaventurados los que guardan sus testimonios, y con todo el corazón le buscan:

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

die auch kein Unrecht tun, / auf seinen Wegen wandeln! /

Pues no hacen iniquidad los que andan en sus caminos.

They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.

Du hast deine Befehle erlassen, / dass man sie eifrig halte. /

Tú encargaste que sean muy guardados tus mandamientos.

Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

You have commanded your precepts, that we should fully obey them.

O dass mein Wandel doch fest wäre, / deine Satzungen zu halten! /

¡Ojalá fuesen ordenados mis caminos á observar tus estatutos!

O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

Oh that my ways were steadfast to obey your statutes!

Dann werde ich nicht zuschanden, / wenn ich auf all deine Gebote schaue. /

Entonces no sería yo avergonzado, cuando atendiese á todos tus mandamientos.

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

Then I wouldn’t be disappointed, when I consider all of your commandments.

Ich will dir mit aufrichtigem Herzen danken, / wenn ich deine gerechten Ordnungen lerne. /

Te alabaré con rectitud de corazón, cuando aprendiere los juicios de tu justicia.

I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.

Deine Satzungen will ich halten; / verlass mich nicht ganz und gar!

Tus estatutos guardaré: no me dejes enteramente.

I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

Wie wird ein Jüngling seinen Pfad rein erhalten? - / Wenn er sich hält nach deinem Wort. /

BETH ¿Con qué limpiará el joven su camino? Con guardar tu palabra.

Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.

Ich suche dich von ganzem Herzen; / lass mich nicht abirren von deinen Geboten! / (a) Jer 29:13 14

Con todo mi corazón te he buscado: no me dejes divagar de tus mandamientos.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

With my whole heart I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments.

Ich berge deinen Spruch in meinem Herzen, / auf dass ich mich nicht an dir versündige. /

En mi corazón he guardado tus dichos, para no pecar contra ti.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Gelobt seist du, o Herr! / Lehre mich deine Satzungen. /

Bendito tú, oh Jehová: enséñame tus estatutos.

Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

Mit meinen Lippen zähle ich her / alle Ordnungen deines Mundes. /

Con mis labios he contado todos los juicios de tu boca.

With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

With my lips, I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth.

Ich freue mich, nach deinen Vorschriften zu wandeln, / mehr als über jeglichen Reichtum. /

Heme gozado en el camino de tus testimonios, como sobre toda riqueza.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.

Über deine Befehle will ich sinnen / und auf deine Pfade schauen. /

En tus mandamientos meditaré, consideraré tus caminos.

I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

An deinen Satzungen habe ich meine Lust, / ich vergesse deines Wortes nicht.

Recrearéme en tus estatutos: no me olvidaré de tus palabras.

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Gewähre deinem Knechte zu leben; / so will ich dein Wort halten. /

GIMEL. Haz bien á tu siervo; que viva y guarde tu palabra.

Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

Öffne mir die Augen, dass ich schaue / die Wunder an deinem Gesetze. /

Abre mis ojos, y miraré las maravillas de tu ley.

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Ich bin ein Gast auf Erden; / verbirg mir deine Gebote nicht. / (a) Ps 39:13

Advenedizo soy yo en la tierra: no encubras de mí tus mandamientos.

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

Meine Seele verzehrt sich in Sehnsucht / nach deinen Ordnungen zu aller Zeit. /

Quebrantada está mi alma de desear tus juicios en todo tiempo.

My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.

Du bedräust die Übermütigen; / verflucht sind, die von deinen Geboten abirren. / (a) 5Mo 27:26; Jer 11:3

Destruiste á los soberbios malditos, que se desvían de tus mandamientos.

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

You have rebuked the proud who are cursed, who wander from your commandments.

Nimm weg von mir Schmach und Verachtung; / denn ich halte deine Ordnungen. /

Aparta de mí oprobio y menosprecio; porque tus testimonios he guardado.

Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

Take reproach and contempt away from me, for I have kept your statutes.

Ob auch Fürsten sitzen und wider mich ratschlagen - / dein Knecht sinnt über deine Satzungen. /

Príncipes también se sentaron y hablaron contra mí: mas tu siervo meditaba en tus estatutos.

Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

Though princes sit and slander me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.

Ja, deine Vorschriften sind mein Ergötzen, / sie sind meine Ratgeber.

Pues tus testimonios son mis deleites, y mis consejeros.

Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

Unterweise mich, nach deinen Befehlen zu wandeln, / und ich will über deine Wunder sinnen. /

Hazme entender el camino de tus mandamientos, y hablaré de tus maravillas.

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

Let me understand the teaching of your precepts! Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.

Meine Seele tränt vor Kummer; / richte mich auf nach deinem Worte. /

Deshácese mi alma de ansiedad: corrobórame según tu palabra.

My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.

Halte fern von mir den Weg der Lüge / und mit deinem Gesetze begnade mich. /

Aparta de mí camino de mentira; y hazme la gracia de tu ley.

Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

Keep me from the way of deceit. Grant me your law graciously!

Den Weg der Wahrheit habe ich erwählt, / nach deinen Ordnungen verlangt mich. /

Escogí el camino de la verdad; he puesto tus juicios delante de mí.

I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your ordinances before me.

Ich halte fest an deinen Vorschriften; / o Herr, lass mich nicht zuschanden werden! /

Allegádome he á tus testimonios; oh Jehová, no me avergüences.

I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

I cling to your statutes, LORD. Don’t let me be disappointed.

Den Weg deiner Gebote will ich laufen; / denn du öffnest mir den Sinn.

Por el camino de tus mandamientos correré, cuando ensanchares mi corazón.

I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

I run in the path of your commandments, for you have set my heart free. HE

Zeige mir, Herr, den Weg deiner Satzungen, / und ich will ihn bis ans Ende einhalten. /

HE. Enséñame, oh Jehová, el camino de tus estatutos, y guardarélo hasta el fin.

Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

Gib mir Einsicht, dass ich dein Gesetz bewahre / und es halte von ganzem Herzen. /

Dame entendimiento, y guardaré tu ley; y la observaré de todo corazón.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Lass mich wandeln auf dem Pfade deiner Gebote; / denn ich habe Gefallen an ihm. /

Guíame por la senda de tus mandamientos; porque en ella tengo mi voluntad.

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

Direct me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in them.

Neige mein Herz zu deinen Vorschriften / und nicht zur Gewinnsucht. /

Inclina mi corazón á tus testimonios, y no á la avaricia.

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Turn my heart toward your statutes, not toward selfish gain.

Wende meine Augen ab, dass sie nicht schauen nach Eitlem; / belebe mich durch dein Wort. /

Aparta mis ojos, que no vean la vanidad; avívame en tu camino.

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways.

Erfülle deinem Knechte deine Verheissung, / die denen gilt, die dich fürchten. /

Confirma tu palabra á tu siervo, que te teme.

Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

Fulfill your promise to your servant, that you may be feared.

Wende ab meine Schmach, vor der mir bangt; / denn deine Ordnungen sind gut. /

Quita de mí el oprobio que he temido: porque buenos son tus juicios.

Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

Take away my disgrace that I dread, for your ordinances are good.

Siehe, mich verlangt nach deinen Befehlen; / belebe mich durch deine Gerechtigkeit.

He aquí yo he codiciado tus mandamientos: vivifícame en tu justicia.

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

Behold, I long for your precepts! Revive me in your righteousness. VAV

Lass deine Gnade über mich kommen, o Herr, / dein Heil nach deiner Verheissung, /

VAU. Y venga á mí tu misericordia, oh Jehová; tu salud, conforme á tu dicho.

Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

Let your loving kindness also come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your word.

damit ich dem antworten kann, der mich schmäht; / denn ich vertraue auf dein Wort. /

Y daré por respuesta á mi avergonzador, que en tu palabra he confiado.

So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in your word.

Nimm nicht meinem Munde das Wort der Wahrheit; / denn ich hoffe auf deine Ordnungen. /

Y no quites de mi boca en ningún tiempo la palabra de verdad; porque á tu juicio espero.

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

Don’t snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, for I put my hope in your ordinances.

Und ich will dein Gesetz halten / allewege, immer und ewig. /

Y guardaré tu ley siempre, por siglo de siglo.

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

So I will obey your law continually, forever and ever.

Lass mich wandeln auf weitem Plan; / denn ich frage nach deinen Befehlen. /

Y andaré en anchura, porque busqué tus mandamientos.

And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

I will walk in liberty, for I have sought your precepts.

Von deinen Vorschriften will ich reden / vor Königen und mich nicht scheuen. /

Y hablaré de tus testimonios delante de los reyes, y no me avergonzaré.

I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

I will also speak of your statutes before kings, and will not be disappointed.

Ich habe meine Freude und meine Lust / an deinen Geboten, die ich liebe. /

Y deleitaréme en tus mandamientos, que he amado.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

I will delight myself in your commandments, because I love them.

Ich erhebe meine Hände zu deinen Geboten, / will sinnen über deine Satzungen.

Alzaré asimismo mis manos á tus mandamientos, que amé; y meditaré en tus estatutos.

My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

I reach out my hands for your commandments, which I love. I will meditate on your statutes. ZAYIN

Gedenke des Wortes an deinen Knecht, / dieweil du mich hoffen liessest. /

ZAIN. Acuérdate de la palabra dada á tu siervo, en la cual me has hecho esperar.

Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

Remember your word to your servant, because you gave me hope.

Das ist mein Trost in meinem Elend, / dass deine Verheissung mich am Leben erhält. /

Esta es mi consuelo en mi aflicción: porque tu dicho me ha vivificado.

This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.

Freche spotten meiner und höhnen; / doch ich weiche nicht ab von deinem Gesetze. /

Los soberbios se burlaron mucho de mí: mas no me he apartado de tu ley.

The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

The arrogant mock me excessively, but I don’t swerve from your law.

Ich gedenke deiner Ordnungen aus der Urzeit, / o Herr, und so werde ich getrost. /

Acordéme, oh Jehová, de tus juicios antiguos, y consoléme.

I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

I remember your ordinances of old, LORD, and have comforted myself.

Zornglut erfasst mich wegen der Gottlosen, / die dein Gesetz verlassen. /

Horror se apoderó de mí, á causa de los impíos que dejan tu ley.

Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

Indignation has taken hold on me, because of the wicked who forsake your law.

Deine Satzungen preise ich im Gesang / in dem Hause meiner Pilgerschaft. /

Cánticos me fueron tus estatutos en la mansión de mis peregrinaciones.

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

Your statutes have been my songs in the house where I live.

Des Nachts gedenke ich deines Namens, o Herr, / dass ich dein Gesetz halte. / (a) Ps 42:9; 63:7

Acordéme en la noche de tu nombre, oh Jehová, y guardé tu ley.

I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

I have remembered your name, LORD, in the night, and I obey your law.

Das ist mir zuteil geworden, / dass ich deine Befehle beachte.

Esto tuve, porque guardaba tus mandamientos.

This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

This is my way, that I keep your precepts. HETH

Ich spreche: "Mein Teil ist es, o Herr, / deine Worte zu halten." /

CHETH. Mi porción, oh Jehová, dije, será guardar tus palabras.

Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

The LORD is my portion. I promised to obey your words.

Ich suche deine Huld von ganzem Herzen; / erbarme dich meiner nach deiner Verheissung. /

Tu presencia supliqué de todo corazón: ten misericordia de mí según tu palabra.

I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

I sought your favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.

Ich überdenke meine Wege / und lenke meine Schritte zu deinen Vorschriften. /

Consideré mis caminos, y torné mis pies á tus testimonios.

I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your statutes.

Ich eile und säume nicht, / deine Gebote zu halten. /

Apresuréme, y no me retardé en guardar tus mandamientos.

I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.

Die Stricke der Gottlosen umfangen mich; / doch deines Gesetzes vergesse ich nicht. /

Compañías de impíos me han robado: mas no me he olvidado de tu ley.

The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

The ropes of the wicked bind me, but I won’t forget your law.

Um Mitternacht stehe ich auf, dir zu danken / für deine gerechten Ordnungen. / (a) Ps 42:9; 63:7

A media noche me levantaba á alabarte sobre los juicios de tu justicia.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because of your righteous ordinances.

Ich bin ein Genosse aller, die dich fürchten, / und derer, die deine Befehle halten. /

Compañero soy yo de todos los que te temieren y guardaren tus mandamientos.

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.

Die Erde ist voll deiner Güte, o Herr; / lehre mich deine Satzungen. (a) Ps 33:5; 104:24

De tu misericordia, oh Jehová, está llena la tierra: enséñame tus estatutos.

The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

Du hast deinem Knechte Gutes getan, / o Herr, nach deinem Worte. /

TETH. Bien has hecho con tu siervo, oh Jehová, conforme á tu palabra.

Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

You have treated your servant well, according to your word, LORD.

Lehre mich rechtes Urteil und Verständnis; / denn ich glaube deinen Geboten. /

Enséñame bondad de sentido y sabiduría; porque tus mandamientos he creído.

Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.

Ehe ich gebeugt ward, irrte ich; / nun aber halte ich dein Wort. /

Antes que fuera yo humillado, descarriado andaba; mas ahora guardo tu palabra.

Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I observe your word.

Du bist gütig und tust Gutes; / lehre mich deine Satzungen. /

Bueno eres tú, y bienhechor: enséñame tus estatutos.

Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.

Freche erdichten Lügen wider mich; / ich aber halte deine Befehle von ganzem Herzen. /

Contra mí forjaron mentira los soberbios: mas yo guardaré de todo corazón tus mandamientos.

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts.

Ihr Herz ist fühllos wie Fett; / ich aber habe meine Lust an deinem Gesetze. /

Engrasóse el corazón de ellos como sebo; mas yo en tu ley me he deleitado.

Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your law.

Es ist mir gut, dass ich gebeugt ward, / auf dass ich deine Satzungen lerne. /

Bueno me es haber sido humillado, para que aprenda tus estatutos.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.

Das Gesetz deines Mundes ist mir köstlicher / als Tausende Goldes und Silbers. (a) Ps 19:11

Mejor me es la ley de tu boca, que millares de oro y plata.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

Deine Hände haben mich gemacht und bereitet; / gib mir Einsicht, dass ich deine Gebote lerne. / (a) Ps 139:14; Hio 10:8

JOD. Tus manos me hicieron y me formaron: hazme entender, y aprenderé tus mandamientos.

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

Die dich fürchten, sehen mit Freuden, / dass ich auf dein Wort harre. /

Los que te temen, me verán, y se alegrarán; porque en tu palabra he esperado.

They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

Those who fear you will see me and be glad, because I have put my hope in your word.

Ich weiss, o Herr, dass deine Ordnungen gerecht sind, / und in Treuen hast du mich gebeugt. /

Conozco, oh Jehová, que tus juicios son justicia, y que conforme á tu fidelidad me afligiste.

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

LORD, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

Lass doch deine Gnade mir zum Troste werden / nach deiner Verheissung an deinen Knecht. /

Sea ahora tu misericordia para consolarme, conforme á lo que has dicho á tu siervo.

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant.

Lass dein Erbarmen über mich kommen, dass ich lebe; / denn dein Gesetz ist meine Lust. /

Vengan á mí tus misericordias, y viva; porque tu ley es mi deleite.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.

Lass die Frechen zuschanden werden, / weil sie mich ohne Ursache bedrücken; / ich aber will über deine Befehle sinnen. /

Sean avergonzados los soberbios, porque sin causa me han calumniado: yo empero, meditaré en tus mandamientos.

Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.

Mir mögen sich zuwenden, die dich fürchten, / die deine Vorschriften kennen. /

Tórnense á mí los que te temen y conocen tus testimonios.

Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your statutes.

Mein Herz bleibe unsträflich bei deinen Satzungen, / auf dass ich nicht zuschanden werde.

Sea mi corazón íntegro en tus estatutos; porque no sea yo avergonzado.

Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

Meine Seele schmachtet nach deiner Hilfe; / ich harre auf dein Wort. /

CAPH. Desfallece mi alma por tu salud, esperando en tu palabra.

My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

Meine Augen schmachten nach deiner Verheissung / und fragen: "Wann wirst du mich trösten?" /

Desfallecieron mis ojos por tu palabra, diciendo: ¿Cuándo me consolarás?

Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

My eyes fail for your word. I say, “When will you comfort me?”

Mucha paz tienen los que aman tu ley; y no hay para ellos tropiezo.

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble.
