For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.

Kann man Feuer im Bausche (des Gewandes) tragen, / ohne dass die Kleider versengt werden? /
¿Tomará el hombre fuego en su seno, sin que sus vestidos se quemen?
Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
Can a man scoop fire into his lap, and his clothes not be burned?
Kann man auf glühenden Kohlen gehen, / ohne die Füsse sich wund zu brennen? /
¿Andará el hombre sobre las brasas, sin que sus pies se abrasen?
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
So, wer zum Weibe des Nächsten geht: / wer sie berührt, bleibt nicht ungestraft. /
Así el que entrare á la mujer de su prójimo; no será sin culpa cualquiera que la tocare.
So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.

Schläge und Schande werden sein Teil sein, / unaustilgbar ist seine Schmach. /
Plaga y vergüenza hallará; y su afrenta nunca será raída.

Denn stammt aus Eifersucht der Grimm des Mannes, / so kennt er keine Schonung am Tag der Rache. /
