Büsst man den Spötter, so werden Unverständige weise; / ein Weiser aber nimmt schon Einsicht an, wenn er belehrt wird. / (a) Spr 19:25

Cuando el escarnecedor es castigado, el simple se hace sabio; y cuando se amonestare al sabio, aprenderá ciencia.

When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

When the mocker is punished, the simple gains wisdom. When the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.
