Höre, mein Sohn, die Belehrung deines Vaters / und verwirf nicht die Weisung deiner Mutter; / (a) Spr 6:20; 23:22

Oye, hijo mío, la doctrina de tu padre, y no desprecies la dirección de tu madre:

My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

My son, listen to your father’s instruction, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching;
