Proverbios 19

Fouettez le moqueur, et les simples apprendront la prudence ; réprimandez celui qui a de l'intelligence, et il acquerra de la connaissance.

Hiere al escarnecedor, y el simple se hará avisado; y corrigiendo al entendido, entenderá ciencia.

Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

Flog a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke one who has understanding, and he will gain knowledge.
