Septante en francais
1Le fils sage réjouit son père ; le fils insensé est le chagrin de sa mère.
2Les trésors ne serviront de rien aux pervers ; mais l'équité délivrera de la mort.
3Le Seigneur ne laissera pas mourir de faim l'âme du juste ; mais Il détruira la vie des impies.
4L'indigence abaisse l'homme ; mais des mains fortes enrichissent. Le fils bien enseigné sera sage, et il se fera servir par l'insensé.
5Le fils prudent n'a point à souffrir de la grande chaleur ; mais le fils pervers est un épi consumé par le vent pendant la moisson.
6La bénédiction du Seigneur est sur la tête du juste ; mais des deuils imprévus couvrent la tête des impies.
7La mémoire des justes a la louange pour elle ; mais le nom des impies s'éteint.
8Le sage recueille les commandements en son cœur ; mais l'homme aux lèvres indiscrètes prend des détours et trébuche.
9Celui qui marche en sa simplicité, marche avec confiance ; celui qui se détourne dans ses voies sera découvert.
10Celui qui approuve d'un regard rusé prépare toute sorte de chagrins aux hommes ; mais celui qui réprimande avec franchise est un pacificateur.
11Il y a une source de vie dans la main du juste ; mais la perdition est cachée dans la bouche des impies.
12La haine suscite la discorde ; l'amitié protège tous ceux qui n'aiment point les querelles.
13Celui dont les lèvres professent la sagesse frappe d'une verge l'homme privé de sens.
14Les sages cachent leur science ; mais la bouche du téméraire le conduit à la confusion.
15La fortune des riches est leur forteresse, et la pauvreté est pour les impies le brisement du cœur.
16Les œuvres des justes donnent la vie ; mais les fruits des impies sont autant de péchés.
17L'instruction garde droites les voies de la vie ; mais l'instruction superficielle égare.
18Les paroles bien mesurées recèlent la haine ; mais ceux qui se répandent en injures sont des plus insensés.
19Par la multitude des paroles, tu n'éviteras pas le péché ; par la discrétion des lèvres, tu seras sage.
20La langue du juste est de l'argent pur ; mais le cœur de l'impie est sans valeur.
21Les lèvres des justes savent des vérités sublimes ; les insensés meurent dans l'indigence.
22La bénédiction du Seigneur est sur la tête du juste ; elle l'enrichit, et il ne s'y joindra aucune tristesse de cœur.
23L'insensé fait le mal en riant ; la sagesse de l'homme enfante la prudence.
24L'impie est emporté dans sa perdition ; mais le désir du juste est exaucé.
25Comme la tempête passe, ainsi l'impie disparaît ; le juste s'en détourne, et il est sauvé pour tous les siècles.
26Comme le fruit vert nuit aux dents et la fumée aux yeux, de même l'iniquité nuit aux injustes.
27La crainte du Seigneur multiplie les jours ; mais les années des impies sont abrégées.
28La joie du juste est durable ; l'espérance des impies périra.
29La crainte du Seigneur est la forteresse du saint ; mais l'affection vient à ceux qui font le mal.

1Las sentencias de Salomón. EL hijo sabio alegra al padre; y el hijo necio es tristeza de su madre.
2Los tesoros de maldad no serán de provecho: mas la justicia libra de muerte.
3Jehová no dejará hambrear el alma del justo: mas la iniquidad lanzará á los impíos.
4La mano negligente hace pobre: mas la mano de los diligentes enriquece.
5El que recoge en el estío es hombre entendido: el que duerme en el tiempo de la siega es hombre afrentoso.
6Bendiciones sobre la cabeza del justo: mas violencia cubrirá la boca de los impíos.
7La memoria del justo será bendita: mas el nombre de los impíos se pudrirá.
8El sabio de corazón recibirá los mandamientos: mas el loco de labios caerá.
9El que camina en integridad, anda confiado: mas el que pervierte sus caminos, será quebrantado.
10El que guiña del ojo acarrea tristeza; y el loco de labios será castigado.
11Vena de vida es la boca del justo: mas violencia cubrirá la boca de los impíos.
12El odio despierta rencillas: mas la caridad cubrirá todas las faltas.
13En los labios del prudente se halla sabiduría: y vara á las espaldas del falto de cordura.
14Los sabios guardan la sabiduría: mas la boca del loco es calamidad cercana.
15Las riquezas del rico son su ciudad fuerte; y el desmayo de los pobres es su pobreza.
16La obra del justo es para vida; mas el fruto del impío es para pecado.
17Camino á la vida es guardar la corrección: mas el que deja la reprensión, yerra.
18El que encubre el odio es de labios mentirosos; y el que echa mala fama es necio.
19En las muchas palabras no falta pecado: mas el que refrena sus labios es prudente.
20Plata escogida es la lengua del justo: mas el entendimiento de los impíos es como nada.
21Los labios del justo apacientan á muchos: mas los necios por falta de entendimiento mueren.
22La bendición de Jehová es la que enriquece, y no añade tristeza con ella.
23Hacer abominación es como risa al insensato: mas el hombre entendido sabe.
24Lo que el impío teme, eso le vendrá: mas á los justos les será dado lo que desean.
25Como pasa el torbellino, así el malo no permanece: mas el justo, fundado para siempre.
26Como el vinagre á los dientes, y como el humo á los ojos, así es el perezoso á los que lo envían.
27El temor de Jehová aumentará los días: mas los años de los impíos serán acortados.
28La esperanza de los justos es alegría; mas la esperanza de los impíos perecerá.
29Fortaleza es al perfecto el camino de Jehová: mas espanto es á los que obran maldad.
30El justo eternalmente no será removido: mas los impíos no habitarán la tierra.
31La boca del justo producirá sabiduría: mas la lengua perversa será cortada.

1The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
2Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
3The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
4He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
5He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
6Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
7The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
8The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
9He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
10He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
11The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
12Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
