1Au reste, mes frères, réjouissez-vous dans le Seigneur. Je ne me lasse point, quant à moi, de vous écrire les mêmes choses, et quant à vous, c'est votre sûreté.
2Prenez garde aux chiens; prenez garde aux mauvais ouvriers; prenez garde à la fausse circoncision.
3Car c'est nous qui sommes la vraie circoncision, nous qui servons Dieu en esprit, qui nous glorifions en Jésus-Christ, et qui ne mettons point notre confiance en la chair,
4Quoique je pusse, moi aussi, me confier en la chair. Si quelqu'un croit pouvoir se confier en la chair, je le puis encore davantage,
5Moi, circoncis le huitième jour, de la race d'Israël, de la tribu de Benjamin, Hébreu, né d'Hébreux; quant à la loi, Pharisien;
6Quant au zèle, persécuteur de l'Église; quant à la justice selon la loi, irréprochable.
7Mais ces choses qui m'étaient un gain, je les ai regardées comme une perte, à cause de Christ.
8Bien plus, je regarde toutes choses comme une perte, en comparaison de l'excellence de la connaissance de Jésus-Christ mon Seigneur, pour qui j'ai perdu toutes choses, et je les regarde comme des ordures, afin que je gagne Christ,
9Et que je sois trouvé en lui, ayant, non point ma justice, celle qui vient de la loi, mais celle qui s'obtient par la foi en Christ, la justice de Dieu par la foi;
10Afin que je connaisse Christ, et l'efficace de sa résurrection, et la communion de ses souffrances, en devenant conforme à lui dans sa mort;
11Pour parvenir, si je puis, à la résurrection des morts.
12Non que j'aie déjà atteint le but, ou que je sois déjà parvenu à la perfection, mais je cours avec ardeur pour saisir le prix; c'est pour cela aussi que j'ai été saisi par Jésus-Christ.
13Frères, pour moi, je ne me persuade pas d'avoir saisi le prix;
14Mais je fais une chose: oubliant ce qui est derrière moi, et m'avançant vers ce qui est devant, je cours avec ardeur vers le but, pour le prix de la vocation céleste de Dieu en Jésus-Christ.
15Nous tous donc qui sommes parfaits, ayons ce sentiment; et si vous pensez autrement en quelque chose, Dieu vous le révélera aussi.
16Cependant, au point où nous sommes parvenus, marchons suivant la même règle, et ayons les mêmes sentiments.
17Soyez tous mes imitateurs, frères, et regardez à ceux qui se conduisent suivant le modèle que vous avez en nous.
18Car plusieurs, je vous l'ai dit souvent, et maintenant je vous le redis en pleurant, se conduisent en ennemis de la croix de Christ;
19Leur fin sera la perdition; leur Dieu, c'est leur ventre, leur gloire est dans leur infamie, et leurs affections sont aux choses de la terre.
20Pour nous, nous sommes citoyens des cieux; d'où nous attendons aussi le Sauveur, le Seigneur Jésus-Christ,
21Qui transformera le corps de notre humiliation, pour le rendre conforme au corps de sa gloire, selon le pouvoir qu'il a de s'assujettir toutes choses.

1RESTA, hermanos, que os gocéis en el Señor. A mí, á la verdad, no es molesto el escribiros las mismas cosas, y para vosotros es seguro.
2Guardaos de los perros, guardaos de los malos obreros, guardaos del cortamiento.
3Porque nosotros somos la circuncisión, los que servimos en espíritu á Dios, y nos gloriamos en Cristo Jesús, no teniendo confianza en la carne.
4Aunque yo tengo también de qué confiar en la carne. Si alguno parece que tiene de qué confiar en la carne, yo más:
5Circuncidado al octavo día, del linaje de Israel, de la tribu de Benjamín, Hebreo de Hebreos; cuanto á la ley, Fariseo;
6Cuanto al celo, perseguidor de la iglesia; cuanto á la justicia que es en la ley, irreprensible.
7Pero las cosas que para mí eran ganancias, helas reputado pérdidas por amor de Cristo.
8Y ciertamente, aun reputo todas las cosas pérdida por el eminente conocimiento de Cristo Jesús, mi Señor, por amor del cual lo he perdido todo, y téngolo por estiércol, para ganar á Cristo,
9Y ser hallado en él, no teniendo mi justicia, que es por la ley, sino la que es por la fe de Cristo, la justicia que es de Dios por la fe;
10A fin de conocerle, y la virtud de su resurrección, y la participación de sus padecimientos, en conformidad á su muerte,
11Si en alguna manera llegase á la resurrección de los muertos.
12No que ya haya alcanzado, ni que ya sea perfecto; sino que prosigo, por ver si alcanzo aquello para lo cual fuí también alcanzado de Cristo Jesús.
13Hermanos, yo mismo no hago cuenta de haberlo ya alcanzado; pero una cosa hago: olvidando ciertamente lo que queda atrás, y extendiéndome á lo que está delante,
14Prosigo al blanco, al premio de la soberana vocación de Dios en Cristo Jesús.
15Así que, todos los que somos perfectos, esto mismo sintamos: y si otra cosa sentís, esto también os revelará Dios.
16Empero en aquello á que hemos llegado, vamos por la misma regla, sintamos una misma cosa.
17Hermanos, sed imitadores de mí, y mirad los que así anduvieren como nos tenéis por ejemplo.
18Porque muchos andan, de los cuales os dije muchas veces, y aun ahora lo digo llorando, que son enemigos de la cruz de Cristo:
19Cuyo fin será perdición, cuyo dios es el vientre, y su gloria es en confusión; que sienten lo terreno.
20Mas nuestra vivienda es en los cielos; de donde también esperamos al Salvador, al Señor Jesucristo;
21El cual transformará el cuerpo de nuestra bajeza, para ser semejante al cuerpo de su gloria, por la operación con la cual puede también sujetar á sí todas las cosas.

1Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
2Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord! To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not tiresome, but for you it is safe.
2Beware of the dogs; beware of the evil workers; beware of the false circumcision.
3For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;
4though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:
5circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;
6concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.
7However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.
8Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ
9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith,
10that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death,
11if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
12Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.
13Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind and stretching forward to the things which are before,
14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you.
16Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let’s walk by the same rule. Let’s be of the same mind.
17Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.
18For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,
19whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.
20For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.
