El Señor también le dio a Moisés estas instrucciones para el pueblo de Israel:

«Cuando un hombre o una mujer haga el voto del nazareato, consagrándose al Señor de un modo especial,
Habla á los hijos de Israel, y diles: El hombre, ó la mujer, cuando se apartare haciendo voto de Nazareo, para dedicarse á Jehová,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them: ‘When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the LORD,
durante todo el período de su consagración al Señor no debe probar bebidas fuertes, ni vino añejo, ni vino recién hecho, ni mosto, ni uvas, ni uvas pasas. No puede comer nada de lo que proviene de la uva, ni siquiera los granillos o el hollejo.
Se abstendrá de vino y de sidra; vinagre de vino, ni vinagre de sidra no beberá, ni beberá algún licor de uvas, ni tampoco comerá uvas frescas ni secas.
He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

»Tampoco podrá acercarse a un cadáver durante el tiempo de su voto,
Todo el tiempo que se apartare á Jehová, no entrará á persona muerta.

aunque se trate del cuerpo de su padre o de su madre, hermano o hermana, pues su voto de consagración sigue teniendo efecto,
Por su padre, ni por su madre, por su hermano, ni por su hermana, no se contaminará con ellos cuando murieren; porque consagración de su Dios tiene sobre su cabeza.
He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.

»Si se contamina porque alguien cae muerto junto a él, siete días después se afeitará su cabeza contaminada y así quedará limpio de la contaminación por haber estado en presencia de un cadáver.
Y si alguno muriere muy de repente junto á él, contaminará la cabeza de su nazareato; por tanto el día de su purificación raerá su cabeza; al séptimo día la raerá.
And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

Al día siguiente, el octavo, llevará dos tórtolas o dos palominos al sacerdote, en la entrada del santuario.

And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

El sacerdote ofrecerá una de estas aves a modo de ofrenda por el pecado, y la otra como ofrenda totalmente quemada, y así reparará el problema de su contaminación. Ese mismo día deberá renovar sus votos y dejar que el cabello le vuelva a crecer.
Y el sacerdote hará el uno en expiación, y el otro en holocausto: y expiarálo de lo que pecó sobre el muerto, y santificará su cabeza en aquel día.

Los días que cumplió del voto antes de su contaminación no serán válidos. Debe empezar de nuevo con otro voto, y debe presentar un cordero de un año en pago por su culpa.
Y consagrará á Jehová los días de su nazareato, y traerá un cordero de un año en expiación por la culpa; y los días primeros serán anulados, por cuanto fué contaminado su nazareato.

»Al terminar el período de su consagración al Señor, irá a la entrada del santuario
Esta es, pues, la ley del Nazareo el día que se cumpliere el tiempo de su nazareato: Vendrá á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio;

“‘This is the law of the Nazirite: when the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting,
y ofrecerá como ofrenda quemada al Señor, un cordero de un año sin ningún defecto. También ofrecerá una cabra de un año sin ningún defecto en pago por sus pecados, un carnero sin defecto como ofrenda de paz,
Y ofrecerá su ofrenda á Jehová, un cordero de un año sin tacha en holocausto, y una cordera de un año sin defecto en expiación, y un carnero sin defecto por sacrificio de paces:
And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,
and he shall offer his offering to the LORD: one male lamb a year old without defect for a burnt offering, one ewe lamb a year old without defect for a sin offering, one ram without defect for peace offerings,
una cesta de panes sin levadura; panes hechos con harina fina y aceite de oliva, hojaldres sin levadura untados con aceite y las correspondientes ofrendas de grano y de bebidas.
Además un canastillo de cenceñas, tortas de flor de harina amasadas con aceite, y hojaldres cenceñas untadas con aceite, y su presente, y sus libaciones.
And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.

luego el carnero de la ofrenda de paz junto con la cesta de pan sin levadura, y por último la ofrenda de grano y la ofrenda de bebidas.
Y ofrecerá el carnero en sacrificio de paces á Jehová, con el canastillo de las cenceñas; ofrecerá asimismo el sacerdote su presente, y sus libaciones.
And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.

»Entonces el nazareo se cortará el cabello que se dejó crecer como señal de su voto de separación. Esto se hará a la entrada del santuario, y a continuación se echará el cabello al fuego, junto con el sacrificio de la ofrenda de paz.

Después de afeitar la cabeza del devoto, el sacerdote cogerá la paletilla asada del cordero, uno de los panes (hechos sin levadura) y una de las hojaldres, y lo pondrá en las manos del hombre.
Después tomará el sacerdote la espaldilla cocida del carnero, y una torta sin levadura del canastillo, y una hojaldre sin levadura, y pondrálas sobre las manos del Nazareo, después que fuere raído su nazareato:
And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:

Luego el sacerdote lo mecerá ante el Señor como se hace con la ofrendas. Todo esto será una porción santa para el sacerdote, así como también la costilla y la paletilla que fueron mecidas ante el Señor. Después de esto el nazareo puede beber otra vez vino, pues ha quedado libre de su voto.
Y el sacerdote mecerá aquello, ofrenda agitada delante de Jehová; lo cual será cosa santa del sacerdote, á más del pecho mecido y de la espaldilla separada: y después podrá beber vino el Nazareo.
And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.

»Ese es el reglamento para el nazareato y para sus sacrificios al terminar el período de la dedicación especial. Además de estos sacrificios debe también traer la ofrenda que prometió cuando hizo el voto de hacerse nazareo».
Esta es la ley del Nazareo que hiciere voto de su ofrenda á Jehová por su nazareato, á más de lo que su mano alcanzare: según el voto que hiciere, así hará, conforme á la ley de su nazareato.
This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
“‘This is the law of the Nazirite who vows and of his offering to the LORD for his separation, in addition to that which he is able to afford. According to his vow which he vows, so he must do after the law of his separation.’”
Luego el Señor le dijo a Moisés:

«Diles a Aarón y a sus hijos que cuando bendigan al pueblo de Israel lo hagan con esta bendición:
Habla á Aarón y á sus hijos, y diles: Así bendeciréis á los hijos de Israel, diciéndoles:
Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is how you shall bless the children of Israel.’ You shall tell them,
“El Señor te bendiga y te guarde; que el rostro del Señor resplandezca sobre ti, que él te sea propicio, te muestre su favor y te dé su paz”.
Jehová te bendiga, y te guarde:
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
‘The LORD bless you, and keep you.
—
Haga resplandecer Jehová su rostro sobre ti, y haya de ti misericordia:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you.
—
Jehová alce á ti su rostro, y ponga en ti paz.
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
The LORD lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.’
Así es como Aarón y sus hijos invocarán mis bendiciones sobre el pueblo de Israel; y yo los bendeciré».
Y pondrán mi nombre sobre los hijos de Israel, y yo los bendeciré.
And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
“So they shall put my name on the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”
