4Mas Nadabe e Abiú morreram na presença do Senhor, quando ofereciam fogo proibido pelo próprio Senhor, no deserto de Sinai. Tanto Nadabe quanto Abiú não tiveram filhos; por isso, somente Eleazar e Itamar serviram como sacerdotes diante de seu pai Arão.

4And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the sight of Aaron their father.
