28Porque el acusado debía haberse quedado dentro de la ciudad de refugio hasta la muerte del sumo sacerdote. Solo después de la muerte del sumo sacerdote, el acusado podrá regresar a su propia tierra.

28Pues en su ciudad de refugio deberá aquél habitar hasta que muera el gran sacerdote: y después que muriere el gran sacerdote, el homicida volverá á la tierra de su posesión.
