1L’Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè, dicendo:
2“Da’ quest’ordine ai figliuoli d’Israele, e di’ loro: Quando entrerete nel paese di Canaan, questo sarà il paese che vi toccherà come eredità: il paese di Canaan, di cui ecco i confini:
3la vostra regione meridionale comincerà al deserto di Tsin, vicino a Edom; così la vostra frontiera meridionale partirà dalla estremità del mar Salato, verso oriente;
4e questa frontiera volgerà al sud della salita di Akrabbim, passerà per Tsin, e si estenderà a mezzogiorno di Kades-Barnea; poi continuerà verso Hatsar-Addar, e passerà per Atsmon.
5Da Atsmon la frontiera girerà fino al torrente d’Egitto, e finirà al mare.
6La vostra frontiera a occidente sarà il mar grande: quella sarà la vostra frontiera occidentale.
7E questa sarà la vostra frontiera settentrionale: partendo dal mar grande, la traccerete fino al monte Hor;
8dal monte Hor la traccerete fin là dove s’entra in Hamath, e l’estremità della frontiera sarà a Tsedad;
9la frontiera continuerà fino a Zifron, per finire a Hatsar-Enan: questa sarà la vostra frontiera settentrionale.
10Traccerete la vostra frontiera orientale da Hatsar-Enan a Scefam;
11la frontiera scenderà da Scefam verso Ribla, a oriente di Ain; poi la frontiera scenderà, e si estenderà lungo il mare di Kinnereth, a oriente;
12poi la frontiera scenderà verso il Giordano, e finirà al mar Salato. Tale sarà il vostro paese con le sue frontiere tutt’intorno”.
13E Mosè trasmise quest’ordine ai figliuoli d’Israele, e disse loro: “Questo è il paese che vi distribuirete a sorte, e che l’Eterno ha ordinato si dia a nove tribù e mezzo;
14poiché la tribù de’ figliuoli di Ruben, secondo le case de’ loro padri, e la tribù dei figliuoli di Gad, secondo le case de’ loro padri, e la mezza tribù di Manasse hanno ricevuto la loro porzione.
15Queste due tribù e mezzo hanno ricevuto la loro porzione di qua dal Giordano di Gerico, dal lato d’oriente”.
16E l’Eterno parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
17“Questi sono i nomi degli uomini che spartiranno il paese fra voi: il sacerdote Eleazar, e Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun.
18Prenderete anche un principe d’ogni tribù per fare la spartizione del paese.
19Ecco i nomi di questi uomini. Per la tribù di Giuda: Caleb, figliuolo di Gefunne.
20Per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Simeone: Samuele, figliuolo di Ammihud.
21Per la tribù di Beniamino: Elidad, figliuolo di Kislon.
22Per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Dan: il principe Buki, figliuolo di Iogli.
23Per i figliuoli di Giuseppe: per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Manasse, il principe Hanniel, figliuolo d’Efod;
24e per la tribù de’ figliuoli d’Efraim, il principe Kemuel, figliuolo di Sciftan.
25Per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Zabulon: principe Elitsafan, figliuolo di Parnac.
26Per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Issacar: il principe Paltiel, figliuolo d’Azzan.
27Per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Ascer: il principe Ahihud, figliuolo di Scelomi.
28E per la tribù de’ figliuoli di Neftali: il principe Pedahel, figliuolo d’Ammihud”.
29Queste sono le persone alle quali l’Eterno ordinò di spartire il possesso del paese di Canaan tra i figliuoli d’Israele.

1Y JEHOVÁ habló á Moisés, diciendo:
2Manda á los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hubiereis entrado en la tierra de Canaán, es á saber, la tierra que os ha de caer en heredad, la tierra de Canaán según sus términos;
3Tendréis el lado del mediodía desde el desierto de Zin hasta los términos de Edom; y os será el término del mediodía al extremo del mar salado hacia el oriente:
4Y este término os irá rodeando desde el mediodía hasta la subida de Acrabbim, y pasará hasta Zin; y sus salidas serán del mediodía á Cades-barnea; y saldrá á Hasar-addar, y pasará hasta Asmón;
5Y rodeará este término, desde Asmón hasta el torrente de Egipto, y sus remates serán al occidente.
6Y el término occidental os será la gran mar: este término os será el término occidental.
7Y el término del norte será este: desde la gran mar os señalaréis el monte de Hor;
8Del monte de Hor señalaréis á la entrada de Hamath, y serán las salidas de aquel término á Sedad;
9Y saldrá este término á Ziphón, y serán sus remates en Hasar-enán: este os será el término del norte.
10Y por término al oriente os señalaréis desde Hasar-enán hasta Sepham;
11Y bajará este término desde Sepham á Ribla, al oriente de Ain: y descenderá el término, y llegará á la costa de la mar de Cinnereth al oriente;
12Después descenderá este término al Jordán, y serán sus salidas al mar Salado: esta será vuestra tierra: por sus términos alrededor.
13Y mandó Moisés á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esta es la tierra que heredaréis por suerte, la cual mandó Jehová que diese á las nueve tribus, y á la media tribu:
14Porque la tribu de los hijos de Rubén según las casas de sus padres, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad según las casas de sus padres, y la media tribu de Manasés, han tomado su herencia:
15Dos tribus y media tomaron su heredad de esta parte del Jordán de Jericó al oriente, al nacimiento del sol.
16Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
17Estos son los nombres de los varones que os aposesionarán la tierra: Eleazar el sacerdote, y Josué hijo de Nun.
18Tomaréis también de cada tribu un príncipe, para dar la posesión de la tierra.
19Y estos son los nombres de los varones: De la tribu de Judá, Caleb hijo de Jephone.
20Y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Samuel hijo de Ammiud.
21De la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad hijo de Chislón.
22Y de la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Bucci hijo de Jogli.
23De los hijos de José: de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Haniel hijo de Ephod.
24Y de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim, el príncipe Chêmuel hijo de Siphtán.
25Y de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elisaphán hijo de Pharnach.
26Y de la tribu de los hijos de Issachâr, el príncipe Paltiel hijo de Azan.
27Y de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ahiud hijo de Selomi.
28Y de la tribu de los hijos de Nephtalí, el príncipe Pedael hijo de Ammiud.
29Estos son á los que mandó Jehová que hiciesen la partición de la herencia á los hijos de Israel en la tierra de Canaán.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
3Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
4And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon:
5And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
6And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
7And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
8From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
9And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.
10And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham:
11And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
12And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
13And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
14For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
15The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
16And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
19And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),
3then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.
4Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.
5The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the sea.
6“‘For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border. This shall be your west border.
7“‘This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.
8From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.
9Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.
10“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.
11The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.
12The border shall go down to the Jordan, and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”
13Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
14for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.
15The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”
16The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
