Der HERR gebot hierauf dem Mose folgendes:

Y JEHOVÁ habló á Moisés, diciendo:

»Nimm Rache für die Israeliten an den Midianitern! Danach sollst du zu deinen Volksgenossen versammelt werden.«

Haz la venganza de los hijos de Israel sobre los Madianitas; después serás recogido á tus pueblos.

Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.

“Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people.”

Da befahl Mose dem Volke folgendes: »Rüstet aus eurer Mitte Männer zu einem Kriegszuge aus, sie sollen gegen die Midianiter ziehen, um die Rache des HERRN an den Midianitern zu vollstrecken.

Entonces Moisés habló al pueblo, diciendo: Armaos algunos de vosotros para la guerra, é irán contra Madián, y harán la venganza de Jehová en Madián.

And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.

Je tausend Mann von einem Stamm, und zwar von allen Stämmen der Israeliten, sollt ihr zu dem Kriegszuge entsenden.«

Mil de cada tribu de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel, enviaréis á la guerra.

Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.

You shall send one thousand out of every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel, to the war.”

So wurden denn aus den Stämmen der Israeliten je tausend Mann von jedem Stamme ausgehoben, im ganzen zwölftausend kriegsgerüstete Männer.

Diese sandte Mose, tausend Mann von jedem Stamm, zum Kriegszuge aus und mit ihnen Pinehas, den Sohn des Priesters Eleasar, zum Kriegszuge; der hatte die heiligen Geräte und die Alarmtrompeten bei sich.

And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.

So zogen sie denn gegen die Midianiter zu Felde, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte, und töteten alle männlichen Personen.

And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

Auch die Könige der Midianiter töteten sie zu den anderen hinzu, die von ihnen erschlagen waren, nämlich: Ewi, Rekem, Zur, Hur und Reba, die fünf Könige der Midianiter; auch Bileam, den Sohn Beors, machten sie mit dem Schwert nieder.

Mataron también, entre los muertos de ellos, á los reyes de Madián: Evi, y Recem, y Zur, y Hur, y Reba, cinco reyes de Madián: á Balaam también, hijo de Beor, mataron á cuchillo.

And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

Hierauf führten die Israeliten die midianitischen Frauen und ihre Kinder gefangen weg, erbeuteten ihr sämtliches Lastvieh und alle ihre Herden und ihre gesamte Habe

und verbrannten alle Ortschaften in ihren Wohnsitzen und alle ihre Zeltlager mit Feuer.

Dann nahmen sie die gesamte Beute und alles, was sie an Menschen und Vieh geraubt hatten,

Y tomaron todo el despojo, y toda la presa, así de hombres como de bestias.

And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

und brachten die Gefangenen sowie den Raub und die Beute zu Mose und zu dem Priester Eleasar und zu der Gemeinde der Israeliten ins Lager, in die moabitischen Steppen, die am Jordan, Jericho gegenüber, lagen.

Y trajeron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á la congregación de los hijos de Israel, los cautivos y la presa y los despojos, al campo en los llanos de Moab, que están junto al Jordán de Jericó.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.

Da gingen Mose und der Priester Eleasar und alle Fürsten der Gemeinde ihnen entgegen vor das Lager hinaus.

Mose aber geriet in Zorn über die Befehlshaber des Heeres, die Hauptleute der Tausendschaften und die Hauptleute der Hundertschaften, die von dem Feldzuge zurückkehrten;

und Mose sagte zu ihnen: »Habt ihr denn alle Frauen am Leben gelassen?

Sie sind es ja gerade, die auf den Rat Bileams den Israeliten ein Anlaß geworden sind, Untreue gegen den HERRN zu begehen †in betreff des Peor, so daß das Sterben über die Gemeinde des HERRN kam.

He aquí ellas fueron á los hijos de Israel, por consejo de Balaam, para causar prevaricación contra Jehová en el negocio de Peor; por lo que hubo mortandad en la congregación de Jehová.

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

aber alle Kinder weiblichen Geschlechts, die noch mit keinem Manne zu tun gehabt haben, laßt für euch am Leben.

Ihr selbst aber müßt sieben Tage lang außerhalb des Lagers bleiben: jeder, der einen Menschen getötet, und jeder, der einen Erschlagenen berührt hat, muß sich am dritten und am siebten Tage entsündigen, ihr selbst und eure Gefangenen.

Auch alle Kleider und alle Gegenstände von Leder sowie alles aus Ziegenhaaren Gefertigte und alle hölzernen Geräte müßt ihr entsündigen!«

Asimismo purificaréis todo vestido, y toda prenda de pieles, y toda obra de pelos de cabra, y todo vaso de madera.

And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.

You shall purify every garment, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.”

Hierauf sagte der Priester Eleasar zu den Kriegsleuten, die an dem Feldzuge teilgenommen hatten: »Dies ist eine Bestimmung des Gesetzes, das der HERR dem Mose zur Pflicht gemacht hat:

Y Eleazar el sacerdote dijo á los hombres de guerra que venían de la guerra: Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que Jehová ha mandado á Moisés:

das Gold und das Silber, das Kupfer, Eisen, Zinn und Blei,

Ciertamente el oro, y la plata, metal, hierro, estaño, y plomo,

Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

However the gold, and the silver, the bronze, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

überhaupt alles, was das Feuer verträgt, müßt ihr durchs Feuer gehen lassen, dann wird es rein sein; jedoch muß es auch noch mit dem Reinigungswasser entsündigt werden. Alles aber, was kein Feuer verträgt, müßt ihr durchs Wasser gehen lassen.

Todo lo que resiste el fuego, por fuego lo haréis pasar, y será limpio, bien que en las aguas de purificación habrá de purificarse: mas haréis pasar por agua todo lo que no aguanta el fuego.

Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

Además lavaréis vuestros vestidos el séptimo día, y así seréis limpios; y después entraréis en el campo.

And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp.

»Nimm von allem, was ihr als Beute an Menschen und an Vieh weggeführt habt, die Gesamtzahl auf, du mit dem Priester Eleasar und den Stammeshäuptern der Gemeinde;

Toma la cuenta de la presa que se ha hecho, así de las personas como de las bestias, tú y el sacerdote Eleazar, y las cabezas de los padres de la congregación:

Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:

“Count the plunder that was taken, both of man and of animal, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation;

und teile die Beute zur Hälfte zwischen denen, die als Teilnehmer am Kriege ins Feld gezogen sind, und zwischen der ganzen übrigen Gemeinde.

Y partirás por mitad la presa entre los que pelearon, los que salieron á la guerra, y toda la congregación.

And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:

and divide the plunder into two parts: between the men skilled in war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

Dann erhebe von den Kriegsleuten, die ins Feld gezogen sind, eine Abgabe für den HERRN, nämlich je ein Stück von fünf Hunderten, sowohl von den Menschen als auch von den Rindern, von den Eseln und vom Kleinvieh;

Y apartarás para Jehová el tributo de los hombres de guerra, que salieron á la guerra: de quinientos uno, así de las personas como de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas:

And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:

von der ihnen zufallenden Hälfte sollt ihr sie nehmen, und du sollst sie dem Priester Eleasar als ein Hebeopfer für den HERRN übergeben.

De la mitad de ellos lo tomarás; y darás á Eleazar el sacerdote la ofrenda de Jehová.

Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.

Von der den (anderen) Israeliten zufallenden Hälfte aber sollst du aus fünfzig Stück immer eins herausgreifen, sowohl aus den Menschen als auch aus den Rindern, den Eseln und dem Kleinvieh, also aus dem gesamten Vieh, und sollst sie den Leviten übergeben, die den Dienst an der Wohnung des HERRN zu verrichten haben.«

Y de la mitad perteneciente á los hijos de Israel tomarás uno de cincuenta, de las personas, de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas, de todo animal; y los darás á los Levitas, que tienen la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová.

And of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.

Of the children of Israel’s half, you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the livestock, and give them to the Levites, who perform the duty of the LORD’s tabernacle.”

Da taten Mose und der Priester Eleasar, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.

Es betrug aber das Erbeutete, das, was von der Beute, die das Kriegsvolk gemacht hatte, übriggeblieben war: 675000 Stück Kleinvieh,

And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,

72000 Rinder

Y setenta y dos mil bueyes,

And threescore and twelve thousand beeves,

seventy-two thousand head of cattle,

und was die Menschen betrifft, so belief sich die Zahl der Mädchen, die noch mit keinem Manne zu tun gehabt hatten, auf insgesamt 32000 Seelen.

und die Abgabe vom Kleinvieh für den HERRN betrug 675 Stück;

sodann die Zahl der Menschen 16000 und die Abgabe davon für den HERRN 32 Seelen.

Mose übergab dann die zum Hebeopfer für den HERRN bestimmte Abgabe dem Priester Eleasar, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.

Endlich von der den Israeliten zufallenden Hälfte, die Mose von dem für die Kriegsleute bestimmten Anteil abgesondert hatte –

es belief sich aber die der Gemeinde zukommende Hälfte ebenfalls auf 337500 Stück Kleinvieh,

(La mitad para la congregación fué: de las ovejas, trescientas treinta y siete mil y quinientas;

(Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep,

von der den Israeliten zukommenden Hälfte also nahm Mose immer ein Stück, das er aus je fünfzig Stück herausgegriffen hatte, sowohl von den Menschen als auch vom Vieh und übergab sie den Leviten, die den Dienst an der Wohnung des HERRN zu verrichten hatten, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.

De la mitad, pues, para los hijos de Israel tomó Moisés uno de cada cincuenta, así de las personas como de los animales, y diólos á los Levitas, que tenían la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová; como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés.

Nun traten zu Mose die Befehlshaber über die Abteilungen des Heeres, die Hauptleute der Tausendschaften und die Hauptleute der Hundertschaften,

Y llegaron á Moisés los jefes de los millares de aquel ejército, los tribunos y centuriones;

And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:

und sagten zu Mose: »Deine Knechte haben die Gesamtzahl der Kriegsleute festgestellt, die unter unserm Befehl gestanden haben, und es ist dabei kein einziger von unseren Leuten vermißt worden.

Y dijeron á Moisés: Tus siervos han tomado razón de los hombres de guerra que están en nuestro poder, y ninguno ha faltado de nosotros.

And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.

Darum bringen wir jetzt als Opfergabe für den HERRN das dar, was ein jeder an Goldschmuck erbeutet hat: Armketten und Armspangen, Fingerringe, Ohrringe und Geschmeide, um für unsere Seelen Sühne vor dem HERRN zu erlangen.«

Por lo cual hemos ofrecido á Jehová ofrenda, cada uno de lo que ha hallado, vasos de oro, brazaletes, manillas, anillos, zarcillos, y cadenas, para hacer expiación por nuestras almas delante de Jehová.

We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.

We have brought the LORD’s offering, what every man found: gold ornaments, armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before the LORD.”

Da nahmen Mose und der Priester Eleasar das Gold, allerlei künstlich gearbeitete Sachen, von ihnen in Empfang;

And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.

die gemeinen Kriegsleute aber hatten ein jeder für sich Beute gemacht.

(For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)
