Y COMO vió Balaam que parecía bien á Jehová que él bendijese á Israel, no fué, como la primera y segunda vez, á encuentro de agüeros, sino que puso su rostro hacia el desierto;

Wie Täler, die sich ausbreiten, / wie Gärten am Strom, / wie Eichen, die der Herr gepflanzt, / wie Zedern am Wasser. /
Como arroyos están extendidas, como huertos junto al río, como lináloes plantados por Jehová, como cedros junto á las aguas.
As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

Da entbrannte Balaks Zorn wider Bileam, und er schlug die Hände zusammen; und Balak sprach zu Bileam: Meinen Feinden zu fluchen, liess ich dich rufen, und siehe, du hast schon dreimal gesegnet.
Entonces se encendió la ira de Balac contra Balaam, y batiendo sus palmas le dijo: Para maldecir á mis enemigos te he llamado, y he aquí los has resueltamente bendecido ya tres veces.
And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

Und nun fliehe in deine Heimat! Ich gedachte dich hoch zu ehren; aber siehe, der Herr hat dir die Ehre versagt.
Húyete, por tanto, ahora á tu lugar: yo dije que te honraría, mas he aquí que Jehová te ha privado de honra.
Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.
Therefore, flee to your place, now! I thought to promote you to great honor; but, behold, the LORD has kept you back from honor.”
Bileam antwortete Balak: Habe ich nicht schon zu deinen Boten, die du mir sandtest, gesagt:
Y Balaam le respondió: ¿No lo declaré yo también á tus mensajeros que me enviaste, diciendo:
And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,
Balaam said to Balak, “Didn’t I also tell your messengers whom you sent to me, saying,
"Wenn mir Balak sein Haus voll Silber und Gold gäbe, vermöchte ich doch das Wort des Herrn nicht zu übertreten, sodass ich Gutes oder Böses täte nach eigenem Willen. Was der Herr redet, das muss ich reden."
Si Balac me diese su casa llena de plata y oro, yo no podré traspasar el dicho de Jehová para hacer cosa buena ni mala de mi arbitrio; mas lo que Jehová hablare, eso diré yo?
If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
‘If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can’t go beyond the LORD’s word, to do either good or bad from my own mind. I will say what the LORD says’?
Und nun, da ich heimziehe zu meinem Volk, wohlan, so will ich dir kundtun, was dieses Volk deinem Volk in den letzten Tagen tun wird.
He aquí yo me voy ahora á mi pueblo: por tanto, ven, te indicaré lo que este pueblo ha de hacer á tu pueblo en los postrimeros días.
And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

Verélo, mas no ahora: lo miraré, mas no de cerca: saldrá ESTRELLA de Jacob, y levantaráse cetro de Israel, y herirá los cantones de Moab, y destruirá á todos los hijos de Seth.
I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

Jakob zertritt seine Feinde / und vernichtet die Flüchtlinge aus den Städten.
Y el de Jacob se enseñoreará, y destruirá de la ciudad lo que quedare.
Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.

Und als er Amalek sah, hob er an seinen Spruch und sprach: Amalek ist der Erstling unter den Völkern, / aber sein Ende ist Untergang. (a) 1Sa 15:7
Y viendo á Amalec, tomó su parábola, y dijo: Amalec, cabeza de gentes; mas su postrimería perecerá para siempre.

And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.

und doch ist Kain dem Verderben verfallen - / wie lange noch, so führt dich Assur in Gefangenschaft!
Que el Cineo será echado, cuando Assur te llevará cautivo.
Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
Nevertheless Kain shall be wasted, until Asshur carries you away captive.”
Und er hob an seinen Spruch und sprach: Weh! wer wird leben bleiben, wenn Gott dies schafft? /
Todavía tomó su parábola, y dijo: ¡Ay! ¿quién vivirá cuando hiciere Dios estas cosas?
And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!
He took up his parable, and said, “Alas, who shall live when God does this?
Schiffe kommen von den Chittäern her, / die demütigen Assur und demütigen Heber. / Doch auch das wird untergehen.
Y vendrán navíos de la costa de Cittim, y afligirán á Assur, afligirán también á Eber: mas él también perecerá para siempre.
And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.
But ships shall come from the coast of Kittim. They shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber. He also shall come to destruction.”
Darnach machte sich Bileam auf und kehrte in seine Heimat zurück, und auch Balak zog seines Weges.
Entonces se levantó Balaam, y se fué, y volvióse á su lugar: y también Balac se fué por su camino.
And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
