1Und Jahwe redete mit Mose in der Steppe am Sinai, im Offenbarungszelt, am ersten Tage des zweiten Monats im zweiten Jahre nach ihrem Auszug aus Ägypten, und gebot:
2Nehmt die Gesamtzahl der ganzen Gemeinde der Israeliten auf, Geschlecht für Geschlecht, Familie für Familie samt den einzelnen Namen - alles, was männlich ist, Kopf für Kopf.
3Alles, was kriegstüchtig ist in Israel, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, sollt ihr mustern, Schar für Schar, du und Aaron.
4Und von jedem Stamme soll euch je einer, und zwar das Oberhaupt der zum Stamme gehörenden Familien, zugesellt sein.
5Dies sind die Namen der Männer, die euch zur Seite stehen sollen: von Ruben Elizur, der Sohn Sedeurs,
6von Simeon Selumiel, der Sohn Zuri-Sadais,
7von Juda Nahasson, der Sohn Amminadabs,
8von Issachar Nethaneel, der Sohn Zuars,
9von Sebulon Eliab, der Sohn Helons,
10von den Söhnen Josephs: von Ephraim Elisama, der Sohn Ammihuds, von Manasse Gamliel, der Sohn Pedazurs;
11von Benjamin Abidan, der Sohn Gideonis,
12von Dan Ahieser, der Sohn Ammi-Sadais,
13von Asser Pagiel, der Sohn Ochrans,
14von Gad Eliasaph, der Sohn Deguels,
15von Naphthali Ahira, der Sohn Enans.
16Das waren die aus der Gemeinde Berufenen, die Fürsten ihrer väterlichen Stämme, die Häupter der Tausendschaften Israels.
17Da ließen Mose und Aaron die genannten Männer, die ihnen namentlich bezeichnet worden waren, zu sich kommen
18und versammelten die ganze Gemeinde am ersten Tage des zweiten Monats. Da ließen sie sich in die Geburts-Verzeichnisse eintragen nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, Kopf für Kopf,
19wie Jahwe Mose befohlen hatte; so musterte er sie denn in der Steppe am Sinai.
20Es beliefen sich aber die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Rubens, des Erstgebornen Israels, nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, Kopf für Kopf gerechnet - alles, was männlich war von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
21so viele ihrer vom Stamme Ruben gemustert wurden, auf 46500.
22Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Simeons nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, Kopf für Kopf gerechnet - alles, was männlich war von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
23so viele ihrer vom Stamme Simeon gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 59300.
24Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Gads nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
25so viele ihrer vom Stamme Gad gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 45650.
26Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Judas nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
27so viele ihrer vom Stamme Juda gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 74600.
28Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Issachars nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
29so viele ihrer vom Stamme Issachar gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 54400.
30Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Sebulons nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
31so viele ihrer vom Stamme Sebulon gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 57400.
32Was die Söhne Josephs anbelangt, so beliefen sich die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Ephraims nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
33so viele ihrer vom Stamme Ephraim gemustert wurden, auf 40500;
34die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Manasses nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
35so viele ihrer vom Stamme Manasse gemustert wurden, auf 32200.
36Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Benjamins nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
37so viele ihrer vom Stamme Benjamin gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 35400.
38Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Dans nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
39so viele ihrer vom Stamme Dan gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 62700.
40Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Assers nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
41so viele ihrer vom Stamme Asser gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 41500.
42Die Abkömmlinge der Söhne Naphthalis nach ihren Geschlechtern, Familien und einzelnen Namen, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war,
43so viele ihrer vom Stamme Naphthali gemustert wurden, beliefen sich auf 53.400.
44Das sind die Gemusterten, die Mose und Aaron und die Fürsten Israels musterten; derer waren zwölf, je einer für den zu ihm gehörenden Stamm.
45Und es beliefen sich alle, die von den Israeliten nach ihren Familien gemustert waren, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, alles, was kriegstüchtig war in Israel, -
46es beliefen sich alle Gemusterten auf 603550.
47Die Leviten aber nach ihrem väterlichen Stamme wurden nicht mit unter ihnen gemustert.
48Und Jahwe redete mit Mose also:
49Jedoch den Stamm Levi darfst du nicht mit mustern und ihre Gesamtzahl nicht aufnehmen inmitten der übrigen Israeliten.
50Stelle du die Leviten an bei der Wohnung des Gesetzes und allen ihren Geräten und allem, was zu ihr gehört; sie sollen die Wohnung und alle ihre Geräte tragen und sie sollen sie bedienen und sich rings um die Wohnung lagern.
51Wenn sich die Wohnung in Bewegung setzt, sollen die Leviten sie abbrechen, und wenn die Wohnung rastet, sollen die Leviten sie aufrichten; ein Fremder aber, der herantritt, soll getötet werden.
52Die übrigen Israeliten sollen sich nach ihren Heerscharen ein jeder in seinem Lager und bei seinem Paniere lagern;
53die Leviten aber sollen sich rings um die Wohnung des Gesetzes lagern, daß nicht etwa ein Zorn über die Gemeinde der Israeliten komme. So sollen denn die Leviten des Dienstes an der Wohnung des Gesetzes warten.
54Und es thaten die Israeliten ganz, wie Jahwe Mose befohlen hatte, - also thaten sie.

2Tomad el encabezamiento de toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, con la cuenta de los nombres, todos los varones por sus cabezas:
3De veinte años arriba, todos los que pueden salir á la guerra en Israel, los contaréis tú y Aarón por sus cuadrillas.
4Y estará con vosotros un varón de cada tribu, cada uno cabeza de la casa de sus padres.
5Y estos son los nombres de los varones que estarán con vosotros: De la tribu de Rubén, Elisur hijo de Sedeur.
6De Simeón, Selumiel hijo de Zurisaddai.
7De Judá, Naasón hijo de Aminadab.
8De Issachâr, Nathanael hijo de Suar.
9De Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón.
10De los hijos de José: de Ephraim, Elisama hijo de Ammiud; de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur.
11De Benjamín, Abidán hijo de Gedeón.
12De Dan, Ahiezer hijo de Ammisaddai.
13De Aser, Phegiel hijo de Ocrán.
14De Gad, Eliasaph hijo de Dehuel.
15De Nephtalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.
16Estos eran los nombrados de la congregación, príncipes de las tribus de sus padres, capitanes de los millares de Israel.
17Tomó pues Moisés y Aarón á estos varones que fueron declarados por sus nombres:
18Y juntaron toda la congregación en el primero del mes segundo, y fueron reunidos sus linajes, por las casas de sus padres, según la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años arriba, por sus cabezas,
19Como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés; y contólos en el desierto de Sinaí.
20Y los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme á la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos los varones de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;
21Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Rubén, fueron cuarenta y seis mil y quinientos.
22De los hijos de Simeón, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, los contados de ellos conforme á la cuenta de los nombres por sus cabezas, todos los varones de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;

32De los hijos de José: de los hijos de Ephraim, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme á la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;
33Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Ephraim, cuarenta mil y quinientos.

42De los hijos de Nephtalí, por sus generaciones, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, conforme á la cuenta de los nombres, de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra;
43Los contados de ellos, de la tribu de Nephtalí, cincuenta y tres mil y cuatrocientos.
44Estos fueron los contados, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, con los príncipes de Israel, que eran doce, uno por cada casa de sus padres.
45Y fueron todos los contados de los hijos de Israel por las casas de sus padres, de veinte años arriba, todos los que podían salir á la guerra en Israel;
46Fueron todos los contados seiscientos tres mil quinientos y cincuenta.
47Pero los Levitas no fueron contados entre ellos según la tribu de sus padres.
48Porque habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
49Solamente no contarás la tribu de Leví, ni tomarás la cuenta de ellos entre los hijos de Israel:
50Mas tú pondrás á los Levitas en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y sobre todos sus vasos, y sobre todas las cosas que le pertenecen: ellos llevarán el tabernáculo y todos sus vasos, y ellos servirán en él, y asentarán sus tiendas alrededor del tabernáculo.
51Y cuando el tabernáculo partiere, los Levitas lo desarmarán; y cuando el tabernáculo parare, los Levitas lo armarán: y el extraño que se llegare, morirá.
52Y los hijos de Israel asentarán sus tiendas cada uno en su escuadrón, y cada uno junto á su bandera, por sus cuadrillas;
53Mas los Levitas asentarán las suyas alrededor del tabernáculo del testimonio, y no habrá ira sobre la congregación de los hijos de Israel: y los Levitas tendrán la guarda del tabernáculo del testimonio.
54E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme á todas las cosas que mandó Jehová á Moisés; así lo hicieron.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
3From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
4And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
5And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
9Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.

19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20And the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
21Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
22Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
23Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
24Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

44These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
45So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
46Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
48For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
49Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
50But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
51And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
52And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
53But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
54And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

1The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one,
3from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions.
4With you there shall be a man of every tribe, each one head of his fathers’ house.
5These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
6Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
7Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
8Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.
9Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

16These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.
17Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.
18They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.
19As the LORD commanded Moses, so he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.
20The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
21those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
22Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were counted of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
23those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
24Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
25those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
26Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

30Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:

42Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war:
43those who were counted of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
44These are those who were counted, whom Moses and Aaron counted, and the twelve men who were princes of Israel, each one for his fathers’ house.
45So all those who were counted of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel—
46all those who were counted were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
47But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted among them.
48For the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
49“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;
50but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.
51When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
52The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.
53But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
54Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did.
