«Otra de mis leyes: Dile al pueblo de Israel que traiga una ternera alazana sin defecto, que no haya trabajado nunca.
Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que Jehová ha prescrito, diciendo: Di á los hijos de Israel que te traigan una vaca bermeja, perfecta, en la cual no haya falta, sobre la cual no se haya puesto yugo:
This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
“This is the statute of the law which the LORD has commanded. Tell the children of Israel to bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no defect, and which was never yoked.
Dásela a Eleazar el sacerdote, y alguien la matará en su presencia.
Y la daréis á Eleazar el sacerdote, y él la sacará fuera del campo, y harála degollar en su presencia.
And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:
You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face.
Eleazar mojará el dedo en la sangre y rociará siete veces hacia el frente del santuario.

Enseguida alguien quemará la ternera en presencia de Eleazar. Quemará la piel, la carne; la sangre y el estiércol.

Eleazar entonces tomará madera de cedro, ramas de hisopo e hilo escarlata y los arrojará en la fogata.

Y un hombre limpio recogerá las cenizas de la vaca, y las pondrá fuera del campo en lugar limpio, y las guardará la congregación de los hijos de Israel para el agua de separación: es una expiación.
And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

El que junta las cenizas de la ternera deberá lavarse las ropas y quedará impuro hasta la noche. Esta es una ley permanente para beneficio del pueblo de Israel y para los extranjeros que viven en medio de ustedes.
Y el que recogió las cenizas de la vaca, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: y será á los hijos de Israel, y al extranjero que peregrina entre ellos, por estatuto perpetuo.
And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

Cualquier vasija que haya en la tienda que no esté bien cubierta quedará impura.

»Si alguien en el campo toca el cadáver de uno que ha sido muerto en la batalla, o que ha muerto de alguna otra manera, o si toca el hueso de alguna tumba, quedará impuro siete días.
Y cualquiera que tocare en muerto á cuchillo sobre la haz del campo, ó en muerto, ó en hueso humano, ó en sepulcro, siete días será inmundo.

Para purificarlo se tomarán cenizas de la ternera alazana quemada para pago por el pecado y se pondrán en un recipiente y se llenará con aguas de manantial.
Y para el inmundo tomarán de la ceniza de la quemada vaca de la expiación, y echarán sobre ella agua viva en un vaso:
And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
“For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.
Entonces una persona que no esté impura tomará de una rama de hisopo, y la mojará en agua y rociará la tienda y todos los muebles que haya en la tienda, y todas las personas que se hayan contaminado por haber estado en la tienda. También rociará a las personas contaminadas por haber tocado un hueso, o por haber tocado a alguien que ha sido asesinado o que ha muerto de muerte natural, o por haber tocado una tumba.
Y un hombre limpio tomará hisopo, y mojarálo en el agua, y rociará sobre la tienda, y sobre todos los muebles, y sobre las personas que allí estuvieren, y sobre aquel que hubiere tocado el hueso, ó el matado, ó el muerto, ó el sepulcro:

Esto se hará los días tercero y séptimo. Enseguida la persona impura lavará su ropa, se bañará y en la noche quedará libre de su contaminación.
Y el limpio rociará sobre el inmundo al tercero y al séptimo día: y cuando lo habrá purificado al día séptimo, él lavará luego sus vestidos, y á sí mismo se lavará con agua, y será limpio á la tarde.
And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

»Pero si alguien que está impuro no se purifica, será expulsado por cuanto ha contaminado el santuario del Señor. El agua de la purificación no ha sido rociada sobre él. Por lo tanto permanece impuro.
Y el que fuere inmundo, y no se purificare, la tal persona será cortada de entre la congregación, por cuanto contaminó el tabernáculo de Jehová: no fué rociada sobre él el agua de separación: es inmundo.
But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.
Esta es una ley permanente. »El hombre que rocía el agua debe después lavar sus ropas, y cualquiera que toque el agua quedará impuro hasta la noche.
Y les será por estatuto perpetuo: también el que rociare el agua de la separación lavará sus vestidos; y el que tocare el agua de la separación, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.
It shall be a perpetual statute to them. He who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.
Todo lo que una persona contaminada toque, permanecerá contaminado hasta la noche. Y quien toque a una persona contaminada, también quedará contaminado hasta la noche».
Y todo lo que el inmundo tocare, será inmundo: y la persona que lo tocare, será inmunda hasta la tarde.
And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.
“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
