Den Ort nennt man Tal Eskol wegen der Weintraube, welche die Israeliten dort abgeschnitten haben. (1) d.i. Traubental.

Y llamóse aquel lugar Nahal-escol, por el racimo que cortaron de allí los hijos de Israel.
