Yendo hacia el norte, atravesaron el Néguev y llegaron a Hebrón. Allí vieron a los descendientes de Ajimán, de Sesay y de Talmay, descendientes de Anac. (Hebrón era muy antigua, y había sido fundada siete años antes que Zoán, en Egipto).

Y ellos subieron, y reconocieron la tierra desde el desierto de Zin hasta Rehob, entrando en Emath.

And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
