1"Sündigt jemand, der ein Fluchwort hört, und könnte er Zeuge sein als Augenzeuge oder als einer, der Beweise liefern kann, macht aber keine Anzeige, so lädt er Schuld auf sich.
2Oder jemand berührt Unreines oder das Aas eines unreinen Wildes oder eines unreinen Haustieres oder das Aas eines unreinen Gewürms, ist sich aber dessen nicht bewußt, so ist er dennoch unrein und schuldig.
3Oder rührt jemand an die Unreinheit eines Menschen, irgendwelche Unreinheit, wodurch man unrein wird, ist sich aber dessen nicht bewußt, so wird er schuldig, wenn er dessen bewußt wird.
4Oder jemand schwört recht unbesonnen, er wolle Schlechtes oder Gutes tun, was eben ein Mensch beim Schwören unbesonnen sprechen kann, ist sich aber dessen nicht bewußt, dann wird er an einem davon schuldig, wenn er sich dessen bewußt wird.
5Fühlt sich jemand dieser Dinge schuldig, so erkenne er, daß er darin gefehlt,
6und bringe dem Herrn als Buße für die vollbrachte Sünde zum Sündopfer ein Weibchen vom Kleinvieh, ein Schäfchen oder eine Ziege! So entsühne ihn der Priester von seiner Sünde!
7Reicht sein Vermögen nicht für ein Schaf hin, dann bringe er zur Buße für seine Sünde dem Herrn ein Paar Turtel- oder junge Tauben, die eine als Sündopfer, die andere als Brandopfer!
8Er bringe sie zum Priester! Und dieser bringe an erster Stelle die zum Sündopfer bestimmte dar! Er knicke ihren Kopf dicht vor dem Genick ein, ohne ihn abzutrennen!
9Dann sprenge er von dem Blute des Sündopfers etwas an die Altarwand! Der Rest des Blutes aber werde am Altarsockel ausgepreßt! Ein Sündopfer ist es.
10Die zweite soll er nach Gebühr fürs Brandopfer herrichten! So entsühne ihn der Priester von seiner Sünde, die er getan, und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erwirken!
11Reicht sein Vermögen nicht für ein paar Turtel- oder junge Tauben hin, dann bringe er für seine Sünde nur ein Zehntel Scheffel Feinmehl als seine Sündopfergabe dar! Er soll aber kein Öl darauftun noch Weihrauch darüberstreuen! Ein Sündopfer ist es ja.
12Er bringe es zum Priester! Der Priester nehme davon eine Handvoll als sein Brandteil und lasse es aufgehen auf dem Altar für des Herrn Mähler! Es ist ein Sündopfer!
13So entsühne ihn der Priester wegen seiner Sünde, die er bei einem dieser Anlässe getan, und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erwirken! Dem Priester falle es zu wie das Speiseopfer!"
14Und der Herr sprach zu Moses:
15"Wenn jemand pflichtvergessen handelt und sündigt, so bringe er als seine Buße dem Herrn vom Kleinvieh einen fehlerlosen Widder zur Buße im Wert von zwei Silberringen nach dem Ring des Heiligtums!
16Was er am Heiligen gesündigt, muß er zahlen, und er soll ein Fünftel des Betrages darauflegen; dann gebe er es dem Priester! So soll ihn der Priester durch den Schuldopferwidder entsühnen, und er suche ihm Verzeihung zu erlangen!
17Wenn jemand sündigt und tut, was man nach den Geboten des Herrn nicht tun darf, ist sich aber dessen nicht bewußt, dann ist er dennoch schuldig und muß seine Verschuldung tragen.
18Er bringe zur Buße vom Kleinvieh einen fehlerlosen Widder nach deiner Schätzung zum Priester! So entsühne ihn der Priester wegen des Versehens, das er unwissentlich tat, und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erwirken!
19Es ist ein Schuldopfer. Er hat sich an dem Herrn verschuldet." Und der Herr sprach zu Moses also. "Jemand sündigt und handelt pflichtvergessen am Herrn, wenn er seinem Volksgenossen Anvertrautes oder ein Darlehen oder einen Diebstahl ableugnet oder seinem Nächsten vorenthält oder das Verlorene findet und verhehlt, und er beschwört eine Lüge, eines von all dem, wodurch ein Mensch sündigen kann. Sündigt er so und ist schuldig, so erstatte er das von ihm Geraubte oder das von ihm Vorenthaltene oder das Anvertraute oder das Verlorene, das er gefunden, oder all das, worüber er falsch geschworen hat! Er erstatte den Betrag; dazu lege er ein Fünftel darauf! Er soll es dem Eigentümer am Tage seines Schuldopfers geben! Als seine Buße soll er dem Herrn einen fehlerlosen Widder bringen, vom Kleinvieh nach deiner Schätzung, für den Priester als Buße! So entsühne ihn der Priester vor dem Herrn und suche ihm Verzeihung zu erwirken für alles, wodurch er sich verschuldet!"

1Y CUANDO alguna persona pecare, que hubiere oído la voz del que juró, y él fuere testigo que vió, ó supo, si no lo denunciare, él llevará su pecado.
2Asimismo la persona que hubiere tocado en cualquiera cosa inmunda, sea cuerpo muerto de bestia inmunda, ó cuerpo muerto de animal inmundo, ó cuerpo muerto de reptil inmundo, bien que no lo supiere, será inmunda y habrá delinquido:
3O si tocare á hombre inmundo en cualquiera inmundicia suya de que es inmundo, y no lo echare de ver; si después llega á saberlo, será culpable.
4También la persona que jurare, pronunciando con sus labios hacer mal ó bien, en cualesquiera cosas que el hombre profiere con juramento, y él no lo conociere; si después lo entiende, será culpado en una de estas cosas.
5Y será que cuando pecare en alguna de estas cosas, confesará aquello en que pecó:
6Y para su expiación traerá á Jehová por su pecado que ha cometido, una hembra de los rebaños, una cordera ó una cabra como ofrenda de expiación; y el sacerdote hará expiación por él de su pecado.
7Y si no le alcanzare para un cordero, traerá en expiación por su pecado que cometió, dos tórtolas ó dos palominos á Jehová; el uno para expiación, y el otro para holocausto.
8Y ha de traerlos al sacerdote, el cual ofrecerá primero el que es para expiación, y desunirá su cabeza de su cuello, mas no la apartará del todo:
9Y rociará de la sangre de la expiación sobre la pared del altar; y lo que sobrare de la sangre lo exprimirá al pie del altar; es expiación.
10Y del otro hará holocausto conforme al rito; y hará por él el sacerdote expiación de su pecado que cometió, y será perdonado.
11Mas si su posibilidad no alcanzare para dos tórtolas, ó dos palominos, el que pecó traerá por su ofrenda la décima parte de un epha de flor de harina por expiación. No pondrá sobre ella aceite, ni sobre ella pondrá incienso, porque es expiación.
12Traerála, pues, al sacerdote, y el sacerdote tomará de ella su puño lleno, en memoria suya, y la hará arder en el altar sobre las ofrendas encendidas á Jehová: es expiación.
13Y hará el sacerdote expiación por él de su pecado que cometió en alguna de estas cosas, y será perdonado; y el sobrante será del sacerdote, como el presente de vianda.
14Habló más Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
15Cuando alguna persona cometiere falta, y pecare por yerro en las cosas santificadas á Jehová, traerá su expiación á Jehová, un carnero sin tacha de los rebaños, conforme á tu estimación, en siclos de plata del siclo del santuario, en ofrenda por el pecado:
16Y pagará aquello de las cosas santas en que hubiere pecado, y añadirá á ello el quinto, y lo dará al sacerdote: y el sacerdote hará expiación por él con el carnero del sacrificio por el pecado, y será perdonado.
17Finalmente, si una persona pecare, ó hiciere alguna de todas aquellas cosas que por mandamiento de Jehová no se han de hacer, aun sin hacerlo á sabiendas, es culpable, y llevará su pecado.
18Traerá, pues, al sacerdote por expiación, según tú lo estimes, un carnero sin tacha de los rebaños: y el sacerdote hará expiación por él de su yerro que cometió por ignorancia, y será perdonado.
19Es infracción, y ciertamente delinquió contra Jehová.

1And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
2Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
3Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
4Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
5And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
6And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
7And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
8And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
9And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
10And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
11But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
12Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
13And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.
14And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
15If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:
16And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
17And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
18And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
19It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.

1“‘If anyone sins, in that he hears a public adjuration to testify, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he doesn’t report it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
2“‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty.
3“‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty.
4“‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil or to do good—whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him—when he knows of it, then he will be guilty of one of these.
5It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned;
6and he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned: a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.
7“‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
8He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He shall wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.
9He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
10He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.

14The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
15“If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly regarding the LORD’s holy things, then he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
16He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong regarding the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.
17“If anyone sins, doing any of the things which the LORD has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
18He shall bring a ram without defect from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn’t know it, and he will be forgiven.
19It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before the LORD.”
