En cada uno de los siete días de la fiesta presentarán un sacrificio u ofrenda quemada delante del Señor. El octavo día habrá una nueva asamblea sagrada de todo el pueblo, ocasión en la que se presentará otra ofrenda quemada al Señor. Es una celebración en la que deben estar alegres, y no realizarán en ella ningún trabajo.
Siete días ofreceréis ofrenda encendida á Jehová: el octavo día tendréis santa convocación, y ofreceréis ofrenda encendida á Jehová: es fiesta: ninguna obra servil haréis.
Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
