1Weiter gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:
2»Den Israeliten sollst du sagen: Wenn irgendeiner von den Israeliten oder von den Fremdlingen, die in Israel als Gäste leben, eins von seinen Kindern dem Moloch hingibt, so soll er unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden: das Volk des Landes soll ihn steinigen!
3Ich selbst will mein Angesicht gegen einen solchen Menschen kehren und ihn aus der Mitte seines Volkes ausrotten, weil er eins von seinen Kindern dem Moloch hingegeben und so mein Heiligtum verunreinigt und meinen heiligen Namen entweiht hat.
4Wenn also das Volk des Landes die Augen vor einem solchen Menschen, der eins von seinen Kindern dem Moloch hingibt, verschließen sollte, so daß es ihn nicht tötet,
5so will ich selbst mein Angesicht gegen den betreffenden Menschen und gegen sein ganzes Geschlecht kehren und ihn samt allen, die denselben Götzendienst treiben und sich dem Moloch mit ihrem Götzendienst ergeben, aus der Mitte ihres Volkes ausrotten.
6Wenn sich ferner jemand an die Totenbeschwörer und die Wahrsager wendet, um Götzendienst mit ihnen zu treiben, so will ich mein Angesicht gegen einen solchen Menschen kehren und ihn aus der Mitte seines Volkes ausrotten.«
7»So heiligt euch denn, daß ihr heilig werdet; denn ich bin der HERR, euer Gott;
8beobachtet meine Satzungen und tut nach ihnen: ich, der HERR, bin es, der euch heiligt.
9Ein jeder, der seinem Vater oder seiner Mutter flucht, soll unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden! Er hat seinem Vater oder seiner Mutter geflucht: Blutschuld lastet auf ihm.
10Wenn ferner ein Mann Ehebruch mit einer verheirateten Frau treibt, wenn er mit der Ehefrau seines Nächsten Ehebruch treibt, so sollen beide, der Ehebrecher und die Ehebrecherin, unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden. –
11Wenn ein Mann der Frau seines Vaters beiwohnt, so hat er seinen Vater geschändet; beide Schuldige sollen unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden: Blutschuld lastet auf ihnen.
12Wenn ein Mann seiner Schwiegertochter beiwohnt, so sollen beide unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden; sie haben eine schändliche Befleckung verübt: Blutschuld lastet auf ihnen. –
13Wenn ein Mann bei einem andern Manne liegt, wie man einem Weibe beiwohnt, so haben beide eine Greueltat begangen; sie sollen unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden: Blutschuld lastet auf ihnen. –
14Wenn ein Mann eine Frau ehelicht und zugleich ihre Mutter, so ist das eine Schandtat: man soll ihn und die beiden Frauen verbrennen, damit keine solche Schandtat unter euch verübt werde. –
15Wenn sich ferner ein Mann mit einem Tiere paart, so soll er unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden, und auch das Tier sollt ihr töten.
16Und wenn ein Weib sich irgendeinem Tiere naht, um sich mit ihm zu paaren, so sollst du das Weib samt dem Tiere töten; sie sollen unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden: Blutschuld lastet auf ihnen. –
17Wenn ein Mann seine Schwester nimmt, die Tochter seines Vaters oder die Tochter seiner Mutter, und den Beischlaf im Einverständnis mit ihr vollzieht, so ist das Blutschande; sie sollen vor den Augen ihrer Volksgenossen ausgerottet werden: er hat seiner Schwester beigewohnt: er soll für seine Verschuldung büßen! –
18Wenn ferner ein Mann mit einer weiblichen Person zur Zeit ihres monatlichen Unwohlseins geschlechtlichen Umgang gehabt hat, wenn er also den Quell ihres Blutes enthüllt und sie (selbst) den Quell ihres Blutes aufgedeckt hat, so sollen beide aus der Mitte ihres Volkes ausgerottet werden! –
19Mit der Schwester deiner Mutter und mit der Schwester deines Vaters darfst du keinen geschlechtlichen Umgang haben; denn wer das tut, der hat sich mit seiner nächsten Blutsverwandten geschlechtlich vergangen: sie sollen für ihre Verschuldung büßen.
20Wenn ferner ein Mann der Frau seines Oheims beiwohnt, so hat er seinen Oheim geschändet; sie sollen für ihre Sünde büßen: kinderlos werden sie sterben.
21Und wenn ein Mann die Frau seines Bruders zum Weibe nimmt, so ist das Blutschande; er hat damit seinen Bruder geschändet: sie werden kinderlos bleiben.«
22»So beobachtet denn alle meine Satzungen und alle meine Gebote und tut nach ihnen, damit euch das Land nicht ausspeie, in das ich euch bringen will, damit ihr darin wohnt.
23Ihr dürft also nicht nach den Satzungen der Völkerschaften wandeln, die ich vor euch vertreiben werde; denn alle diese Sünden haben sie verübt, so daß sie mir zum Ekel geworden sind.
24Euch aber habe ich verheißen: Ihr sollt ihr Land in Besitz nehmen, und ich will es euch zu eigen geben, ein Land, das von Milch und Honig überfließt: ich bin der HERR, euer Gott, der ich euch von den übrigen Völkern abgesondert habe.
25So macht denn einen Unterschied zwischen den reinen und den unreinen vierfüßigen Tieren und zwischen den unreinen und den reinen Vögeln, und macht euch nicht selbst zu einem Greuel durch (unreine) vierfüßige Tiere oder durch Vögel oder durch irgendwelche Tiere, die sich auf dem Erdboden regen, die ich euch als unrein bezeichnet und ausgesondert habe.
26Ihr sollt mir also heilig sein, denn ich, der HERR, bin heilig und habe euch von den übrigen Völkern abgesondert, damit ihr mir angehört.«
27»Wenn ferner ein Mann oder ein Weib einen Geist der Totenbeschwörung oder einen Wahrsagegeist in sich hat, so sollen sie unfehlbar mit dem Tode bestraft werden; man soll sie steinigen: Blutschuld lastet auf ihnen.«

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés diciendo:
2Dirás asimismo á los hijos de Israel: Cualquier varón de los hijos de Israel, ó de los extranjeros que peregrinan en Israel, que diere de su simiente á Moloch, de seguro morirá: el pueblo de la tierra lo apedreará con piedras.
3Y yo pondré mi rostro contra el tal varón, y lo cortaré de entre su pueblo; por cuanto dió de su simiente á Moloch, contaminando mi santuario, y amancillando mi santo nombre.
4Que si escondiere el pueblo de la tierra sus ojos de aquel varón que hubiere dado de su simiente á Moloch, para no matarle,
5Entonces yo pondré mi rostro contra aquel varón, y contra su familia, y le cortaré de entre su pueblo, con todos los que fornicaron en pos de él, prostituyéndose con Moloch.
6Y la persona que atendiere á encantadores ó adivinos, para prostituirse tras de ellos, yo pondré mi rostro contra la tal persona, y cortaréla de entre su pueblo.
7Santificaos, pues, y sed santos, porque yo Jehová soy vuestro Dios.
8Y guardad mis estatutos, y ponedlos por obra: Yo Jehová que os santifico.
9Porque varón que maldijere á su padre ó á su madre, de cierto morirá: á su padre ó á su madre maldijo; su sangre será sobre él.
10Y el hombre que adulterare con la mujer de otro, el que cometiere adulterio con la mujer de su prójimo, indefectiblemente se hará morir al adúltero y á la adúltera.
11Y cualquiera que se echare con la mujer de su padre, la desnudez de su padre descubrió: ambos han de ser muertos; su sangre será sobre ellos.
12Y cualquiera que durmiere con su nuera, ambos han de morir: hicieron confusión; su sangre será sobre ellos.
13Y cualquiera que tuviere ayuntamiento con varón como con mujer, abominación hicieron: entrambos han de ser muertos; sobre ellos será su sangre.
14Y el que tomare mujer y á la madre de ella, comete vileza: quemarán en fuego á él y á ellas, porque no haya vileza entre vosotros.
15Y cualquiera que tuviere cópula con bestia, ha de ser muerto; y mataréis á la bestia.
16Y la mujer que se allegare á algún animal, para tener ayuntamiento con él, á la mujer y al animal matarás: morirán infaliblemente; será su sangre sobre ellos.
17Y cualquiera que tomare á su hermana, hija de su padre ó hija de su madre, y viere su desnudez, y ella viere la suya, cosa es execrable; por tanto serán muertos á ojos de los hijos de su pueblo: descubrió la desnudez de su hermana; su pecado llevará.
18Y cualquiera que durmiere con mujer menstruosa, y descubriere su desnudez, su fuente descubrió, y ella descubrió la fuente de su sangre: ambos serán cortados de entre su pueblo.
19La desnudez de la hermana de tu madre, ó de la hermana de tu padre, no descubrirás: por cuanto descubrió su parienta, su iniquidad llevarán.
20Y cualquiera que durmiere con la mujer del hermano de su padre, la desnudez del hermano de su padre descubrió; su pecado llevarán; morirán sin hijos.
21Y el que tomare la mujer de su hermano, es suciedad; la desnudez de su hermano descubrió; sin hijos serán.
22Guardad, pues, todos mis estatutos y todos mis derechos, y ponedlos por obra: y no os vomitará la tierra, en la cual yo os introduzco para que habitéis en ella.
23Y no andéis en las prácticas de la gente que yo echaré de delante de vosotros: porque ellos hicieron todas estas cosas, y los tuve en abominación.
24Empero á vosotros os he dicho: Vosotros poseeréis la tierra de ellos, y yo os la daré para que la poseáis por heredad, tierra que fluye leche y miel: Yo Jehová vuestro Dios, que os he apartado de los pueblos.
25Por tanto, vosotros haréis diferencia entre animal limpio é inmundo, y entre ave inmunda y limpia: y no ensuciéis vuestras personas en los animales, ni en las aves, ni en ninguna cosa que va arrastrando por la tierra, las cuales os he apartado por inmundas.
26Habéis, pues, de serme santos, porque yo Jehová soy santo, y os he apartado de los pueblos, para que seáis míos.
27Y el hombre ó la mujer en quienes hubiere espíritu pithónico ó de adivinación, han de ser muertos: los apedrearán con piedras; su sangre sobre ellos.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
6And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
7Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.
8And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
9For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
10And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
20And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
22Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
23And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
25Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
27A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
World English Bible
1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Moreover, you shall tell the children of Israel, ‘Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone that person with stones.
3I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given of his offspring to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4If the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person when he gives of his offspring to Molech, and don’t put him to death,
5then I will set my face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, and all who play the prostitute after him to play the prostitute with Molech, from among their people.
6“‘The person that turns to those who are mediums and wizards, to play the prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.
7“‘Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God.
8You shall keep my statutes, and do them. I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
9“‘For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon himself.
10“‘The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11“‘The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness. Both of them shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon themselves.

15“‘If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal.
16“‘If a woman approaches any animal and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
17“‘If a man takes his sister—his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter—and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a shameful thing. They shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He shall bear his iniquity.
18“‘If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period, and uncovers her nakedness, he has made her fountain naked, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, nor of your father’s sister, for he has made his close relative naked. They shall bear their iniquity.
20If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless.
21“‘If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an impurity. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be childless.
22“‘You shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.
23You shall not walk in the customs of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24But I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the LORD your God, who has separated you from the peoples.
25“‘You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean. You shall not make yourselves abominable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you.
26You shall be holy to me, for I, the LORD, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.
27“‘A man or a woman that is a medium or is a wizard shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones. Their blood shall be upon themselves.’”
