Palabra de Dios para Ti
1Yavé habló a Moisés y a Aarón:
2Cuando un hombre tenga en la piel de su cuerpo una hinchazón, o erupción, o mancha blanca, y se convierta en infección de lepra, será llevado al sacerdote Aarón o a uno de sus hijos sacerdotes.
3El sacerdote examinará la infección en la piel del que tiene la mancha. Si el vello que está en la erupción se volvió blanco, y la llaga aparece más hundida que la piel de su cuerpo, es llaga de lepra. El sacerdote lo reconocerá y lo declarará impuro.
4Pero si en la piel de su cuerpo hay una mancha blanca, aunque no parece más hundida que la piel, ni su vello se volvió blanco, el sacerdote aislará al que tiene la infección durante siete días.
5Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará, y si ante sus ojos la infección no cambió, ni se extendió en la piel, el sacerdote lo aislará por otros siete días.
6Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará otra vez, y si parece que la erupción se oscureció y no se esparció en la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará limpio. Es una erupción. Lavará entonces sus ropas y quedará limpio.
7Pero si la erupción se extendió en la piel, después que se mostró al sacerdote para ser limpiado, entonces comparecerá otra vez ante el sacerdote.
8El sacerdote lo examinará, y si la erupción se esparció en la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Es lepra.
9Cuando haya infección de lepra en un hombre será llevado al sacerdote,
10quien lo examinará. Si parece hinchazón blanca en la piel, el vello se volvió blanco y se descubre la carne viva,
11es lepra crónica en la piel de su cuerpo. El sacerdote lo declarará impuro. No lo hará recluir, puesto que está impuro.
12Pero si la lepra brota mucho y cubre toda la piel del infectado, desde su cabeza hasta sus pies, a plena vista del sacerdote,
13entonces el sacerdote lo observará. Si la lepra cubrió todo su cuerpo, declarará limpio al infectado si toda ella se volvió blanca. Él es limpio.
14Pero el día cuando aparezca carne viva en él, entonces será impuro.
15El sacerdote examinará la carne viva, y lo declarará impuro. La carne viva es impura. Es lepra.
16Pero si la carne viva cambia y se vuelve blanca, entonces irá al sacerdote,
17quien lo examinará. Si la llaga se volvió blanca, entonces el sacerdote declarará puro al infectado. Está limpio.
18Cuando un cuerpo tenga una infección en su piel que se sanó,
19pero surge en el lugar de la infección una hinchazón blanca o una mancha blanca rojiza, será presentado al sacerdote,
20y el sacerdote la examinará. Si parece más hundida que la piel y el vello se volvió blanco, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Es infección de lepra que brotó de la erupción.
21Pero si el sacerdote la examina, y no parece que hay vello blanco en ella, ni está más hundida que la piel y perdió color, entonces el sacerdote lo aislará siete días.
22Si se esparció mucho por la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Es lepra.
23Pero si la mancha blanca rojiza se mantiene fija y no se esparce, es cicatriz de la erupción, y el sacerdote lo declarará limpio.
24También si hay en la piel del cuerpo una quemadura de fuego, y en lo vivo de la quemadura se forma una mancha blanquecina, rojiza, o blanca,
25el sacerdote la examinará. Si el vello que hay en la mancha blanca rojiza se volvió blanco y parece estar más hundida que la piel, es lepra que brotó en la quemadura. El sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Es infección de lepra.
26Pero si el sacerdote la observa, y no aparece vello blanco en la mancha, ni está más hundida que la piel sino palideció, el sacerdote lo aislará siete días.
27Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará. Si se esparció considerablemente por la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Es infección de lepra.
28Pero si la mancha blanca se queda fija, y no se esparce por la piel ni perdió color, es hinchazón de la quemadura. El sacerdote lo declarará limpio porque es la cicatriz de la quemadura.
29Cuando un hombre o una mujer tenga una infección en la cabeza o en la barbilla,
30el sacerdote examinará la infección. Si parece más hundida que la piel y el vello en ella es amarillento y delgado, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Es tiña, una lepra de la cabeza o de la barbilla.
31Pero si el sacerdote examina la infección de la tiña, y no parece más hundida que la piel y no hay en ella vello negro, el sacerdote aislará al infectado de la tiña siete días.
32El séptimo día el sacerdote examinará la infección. Si la tiña no se esparció, ni hay en ella pelo amarillento, ni la tiña parece más profunda que la piel,
33entonces se afeitará (pero no se afeitará la tiña), y el sacerdote aislará al tiñoso siete días más.
34El séptimo día el sacerdote examinará la tiña. Si la tiña no se esparció por la piel, ni parece más hundida que la piel, lo declarará limpio. Lavará sus ropas y será limpio.
35Pero si, después de su purificación, la tiña se extendió en la piel,
36el sacerdote lo examinará. Si la tiña se extendió en la piel, el sacerdote no tendrá que buscar el pelo amarillento. Es impuro.
37Pero si le parece que la tiña está detenida y creció en ella cabello negro, la tiña está sanada. Está limpio, y el sacerdote lo declarará limpio.
38Cuando un hombre o una mujer tenga en la piel de su cuerpo manchas blancas,
39el sacerdote las examinará. Si en la piel de su cuerpo hay manchas blancuzcas, es herpes que brotó en la piel. La persona está limpia.
40Cuando a un varón se le cae el pelo de su cabeza, es calvo, pero limpio.
41También, si se le cae por delante de su cabeza, es calvo por delante, pero limpio.
42Pero si en la calva de la coronilla o en la calva frontal aparece una erupción blanca rojiza, es lepra que brota en su coronilla o en su calva frontal.
43Entonces el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la hinchazón de la erupción blanca rojiza de su coronilla o de su calva frontal es como el aspecto de la lepra en la piel del cuerpo,
44es leproso. Está impuro. El sacerdote lo declarará impuro. Tiene la infección en su cabeza.
45Las ropas del leproso que tenga la infección serán rasgadas y su cabeza será descubierta. Se cubrirá hasta el bigote y pregonará: ¡Impuro! ¡Impuro!
46Permanecerá impuro todo el tiempo que tenga la infección. Por estar impuro, vivirá solo. Su habitación estará fuera del campamento.
47Cuando haya infección de lepra en la ropa, sea ropa de lana o lino,
48en tejido o trama, sea lino o lana, en cuero o en cualquier objeto hecho de cuero,
49y la mancha se muestre verdosa o rojiza, sea en ropa, cuero, tejido, trama o en cualquier objeto hecho de cuero, es infección de lepra y se debe mostrar al sacerdote.
50El sacerdote observará la infección y aislará lo infectado durante siete días.
51El séptimo día observará la infección. Si se esparció por la ropa, el tejido, la trama o por el cuero, cualquiera que sea el uso del cuero, la infección es una lepra maligna. Está impuro.
52Quemará la ropa, el tejido, la trama de lana o lino, o cualquier objeto de cuero infectado, porque es lepra maligna. Se quemará al fuego.
53Pero si el sacerdote lo examina y parece que la infección no se extendió en la ropa, el tejido, la trama o en cualquier objeto de cuero,
54el sacerdote ordenará que laven lo que tiene la infección, y lo aislara siete días más.
55Después que el objeto infectado sea lavado, el sacerdote lo examinará. Si parece que la mancha no cambió ante sus ojos, aunque no se extendió, está impuro. Ya sea que esté corroído por el derecho o por el revés, lo quemarás en el fuego.
56Pero si el sacerdote lo examina y le parece que la mancha se debilitó después de ser lavada, la cortará de la ropa, del cuero, del tejido o de la trama.
57Pero si reaparece en la ropa, el tejido, la trama o en cualquier objeto de cuero, se esparce. Quemará al fuego aquello en lo cual está la infección.
58Pero si la ropa, el tejido, la trama o cualquier objeto de cuero que se lave y la mancha sea removida, entonces se lavará por segunda vez, y quedará limpio.
59Esta es la Ley con respecto a la mancha de la lepra en una ropa de lana o de lino, bien sea en tejido o trama, o en cualquier objeto de cuero, para declararlo limpio o impuro.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
2Cuando el hombre tuviere en la piel de su carne hinchazón, ó postilla, ó mancha blanca, y hubiere en la piel de su carne como llaga de lepra, será traído á Aarón el sacerdote, ó á uno de los sacerdotes sus hijos:
3Y el sacerdote mirará la llaga en la piel de la carne: si el pelo en la llaga se ha vuelto blanco, y pareciere la llaga más hundida que la tez de la carne, llaga de lepra es; y el sacerdote le reconocerá, y le dará por inmundo.
4Y si en la piel de su carne hubiere mancha blanca, pero no pareciere más hundida que la tez, ni su pelo se hubiere vuelto blanco, entonces el sacerdote encerrará al llagado por siete días;
5Y al séptimo día el sacerdote lo mirará; y si la llaga á su parecer se hubiere estancado, no habiéndose extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote le volverá á encerrar por otros siete días.
6Y al séptimo día el sacerdote le reconocerá de nuevo; y si parece haberse oscurecido la llaga, y que no ha cundido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo dará por limpio: era postilla; y lavará sus vestidos, y será limpio.
7Mas si hubiere ido creciendo la postilla en la piel, después que fué mostrado al sacerdote para ser limpio, será visto otra vez del sacerdote:
8Y si reconociéndolo el sacerdote, ve que la postilla ha crecido en la piel, el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es lepra.
9Cuando hubiere llaga de lepra en el hombre, será traído al sacerdote;
10Y el sacerdote mirará, y si pareciere tumor blanco en la piel, el cual haya mudado el color del pelo, y se descubre asimismo la carne viva,
11Lepra es envejecida en la piel de su carne; y le dará por inmundo el sacerdote, y no le encerrará, porque es inmundo.
12Mas si brotare la lepra cundiendo por el cutis, y ella cubriere toda la piel del llagado desde su cabeza hasta sus pies, á toda vista de ojos del sacerdote;
13Entonces el sacerdote le reconocerá; y si la lepra hubiere cubierto toda su carne, dará por limpio al llagado: hase vuelto toda ella blanca; y él es limpio.
14Mas el día que apareciere en él la carne viva, será inmundo.
15Y el sacerdote mirará la carne viva, y lo dará por inmundo. Es inmunda la carne viva: es lepra.
16Mas cuando la carne viva se mudare y volviere blanca, entonces vendrá al sacerdote;
17Y el sacerdote mirará, y si la llaga se hubiere vuelto blanca, el sacerdote dará por limpio al que tenía la llaga, y será limpio.
18Y cuando en la carne, en su piel, hubiere apostema, y se sanare,
19Y sucediere en el lugar de la apostema tumor blanco, ó mancha blanca embermejecida, será mostrado al sacerdote:
20Y el sacerdote mirará; y si pareciere estar más baja que su piel, y su pelo se hubiere vuelto blanco, darálo el sacerdote por inmundo: es llaga de lepra que se originó en la apostema.
21Y si el sacerdote la considerare, y no pareciere en ella pelo blanco, ni estuviere más baja que la piel, sino oscura, entonces el sacerdote lo encerrará por siete días:
22Y si se fuere extendiendo por la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es llaga.
23Empero si la mancha blanca se estuviere en su lugar, que no haya cundido, es la costra de la apostema; y el sacerdote lo dará por limpio.
24Asimismo cuando la carne tuviere en su piel quemadura de fuego, y hubiere en lo sanado del fuego mancha blanquecina, bermejiza ó blanca,
25El sacerdote la mirará; y si el pelo se hubiere vuelto blanco en la mancha, y pareciere estar más hundida que la piel, es lepra que salió en la quemadura; y el sacerdote declarará al sujeto inmundo, por ser llaga de lepra.
26Mas si el sacerdote la mirare, y no pareciere en la mancha pelo blanco, ni estuviere más baja que la tez, sino que está oscura, le encerrará el sacerdote por siete días;
27Y al séptimo día el sacerdote la reconocerá: si se hubiere ido extendiendo por la piel, el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es llaga de lepra.
28Empero si la mancha se estuviere en su lugar, y no se hubiere extendido en la piel, sino que está oscura, hinchazón es de la quemadura: darálo el sacerdote por limpio; que señal de la quemadura es.
29Y al hombre ó mujer que le saliere llaga en la cabeza, ó en la barba,
30El sacerdote mirará la llaga; y si pareciere estar más profunda que la tez, y el pelo en ella fuera rubio y adelgazado, entonces el sacerdote lo dará por inmundo: es tiña, es lepra de la cabeza ó de la barba.
31Mas cuando el sacerdote hubiere mirado la llaga de la tiña, y no pareciere estar más profunda que la tez, ni fuere en ella pelo negro, el sacerdote encerrará al llagado de la tiña por siete días:
32Y al séptimo día el sacerdote mirará la llaga: y si la tiña no pareciere haberse extendido, ni hubiere en ella pelo rubio, ni pareciere la tiña más profunda que la tez,
33Entonces lo trasquilarán, mas no trasquilarán el lugar de la tiña: y encerrará el sacerdote al que tiene la tiña por otros siete días.
34Y al séptimo día mirará el sacerdote la tiña; y si la tiña no hubiere cundido en la piel, ni pareciere estar más profunda que la tez, el sacerdote lo dará por limpio; y lavará sus vestidos, y será limpio.
35Empero si la tiña se hubiere ido extendiendo en la piel después de su purificación,
36Entonces el sacerdote la mirará; y si la tiña hubiere cundido en la piel, no busque el sacerdote el pelo rubio, es inmundo.
37Mas si le pareciere que la tiña está detenida, y que ha salido en ella el pelo negro, la tiña está sanada; él está limpio, y por limpio lo dará el sacerdote.
38Asimismo el hombre ó mujer, cuando en la piel de su carne tuviere manchas, manchas blancas,
39El sacerdote mirará: y si en la piel de su carne parecieren manchas blancas algo oscurecidas, es empeine que brotó en la piel, está limpia la persona.
40Y el hombre, cuando se le pelare la cabeza, es calvo, mas limpio.
41Y si á la parte de su rostro se le pelare la cabeza, es calvo por delante, pero limpio.
42Mas cuando en la calva ó en la antecalva hubiere llaga blanca rojiza, lepra es que brota en su calva ó en su antecalva.
43Entonces el sacerdote lo mirará, y si pareciere la hinchazón de la llaga blanca rojiza en su calva ó en su antecalva, como el parecer de la lepra de la tez de la carne,
44Leproso es, es inmundo; el sacerdote lo dará luego por inmundo; en su cabeza tiene su llaga.
45Y el leproso en quien hubiere llaga, sus vestidos serán deshechos y su cabeza descubierta, y embozado pregonará: ¡Inmundo! ¡inmundo!
46Todo el tiempo que la llaga estuviere en él, será inmundo; estará impuro: habitará solo; fuera del real será su morada.
47Y cuando en el vestido hubiere plaga de lepra, en vestido de lana, ó en vestido de lino;
48O en estambre ó en trama, de lino ó de lana, ó en piel, ó en cualquiera obra de piel;
49Y que la plaga sea verde, ó bermeja, en vestido ó en piel, ó en estambre ó en trama, ó en cualquiera obra de piel; plaga es de lepra, y se ha de mostrar al sacerdote.
50Y el sacerdote mirará la plaga, y encerrará la cosa plagada por siete días.
51Y al séptimo día mirará la plaga: y si hubiere cundido la plaga en el vestido, ó estambre, ó en la trama, ó en piel, ó en cualquiera obra que se hace de pieles, lepra roedora es la plaga; inmunda será.
52Será quemado el vestido, ó estambre ó trama, de lana ó de lino, ó cualquiera obra de pieles en que hubiere tal plaga; porque lepra roedora es: al fuego será quemada.
53Y si el sacerdote mirare, y no pareciere que la plaga se haya extendido en el vestido, ó estambre, ó en la trama, ó en cualquiera obra de pieles;
54Entonces el sacerdote mandará que laven donde está la plaga, y lo encerrará otra vez por siete días.
55Y el sacerdote mirará después que la plaga fuere lavada; y si pareciere que la plaga no ha mudado su aspecto, bien que no haya cundido la plaga, inmunda es; la quemarás al fuego; corrosión es penetrante, esté lo raído en la haz ó en el revés de aquella cosa.
56Mas si el sacerdote la viere, y pareciere que la plaga se ha oscurecido después que fué lavada, la cortará del vestido, ó de la piel, ó del estambre, ó de la trama.
57Y si apareciere más en el vestido, ó estambre, ó trama, ó en cualquiera cosa de pieles, reverdeciendo en ella, quemarás al fuego aquello donde estuviere la plaga.
58Empero el vestido, ó estambre, ó trama, ó cualquiera cosa de piel que lavares, y que se le quitare la plaga, lavarse ha segunda vez, y entonces será limpia.
59Esta es la ley de la plaga de la lepra del vestido de lana ó de lino, ó del estambre, ó de la trama, ó de cualquiera cosa de piel, para que sea dada por limpia ó por inmunda.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,
2When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
3And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
4If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
5And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
6And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
7But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:
8And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.
9When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;
10And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;
11It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
12And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;
13Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
14But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
15And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.
16Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;
17And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
18The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
19And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;
20And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
21But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
22And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
23But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
24Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;
25Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
26But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
27And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
28And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
29If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;
30Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.
31And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:
32And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
33He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:
34And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
35But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;
36Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
37But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
38If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
39Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.
40And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
41And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.
42And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
43Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
44He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.
45And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
46All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.
47The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;
48Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;
49And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
50And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:
51And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
52He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
53And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
54Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
55And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.
56And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
57And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
58And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
59This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

1The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2“When a man shall have a swelling in his body’s skin, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his body the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons, the priests.
3The priest shall examine the plague in the skin of the body. If the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the body’s skin, it is the plague of leprosy; so the priest shall examine him and pronounce him unclean.
4If the bright spot is white in the skin of his body, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and its hair hasn’t turned white, then the priest shall isolate the infected person for seven days.
5The priest shall examine him on the seventh day. Behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.
6The priest shall examine him again on the seventh day. Behold, if the plague has faded and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
7But if the scab spreads on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again.
8The priest shall examine him; and behold, if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy.
9“When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest;
10and the priest shall examine him. Behold, if there is a white swelling in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,
11it is a chronic leprosy in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not isolate him, for he is already unclean.
12“If the leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the infected person from his head even to his feet, as far as it appears to the priest,
13then the priest shall examine him. Behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean of the plague. It has all turned white: he is clean.
14But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean.
15The priest shall examine the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy.
16Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest.
17The priest shall examine him. Behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague. He is clean.
18“When the body has a boil on its skin, and it has healed,
19and in the place of the boil there is a white swelling, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest.
20The priest shall examine it. Behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has broken out in the boil.
21But if the priest examines it, and behold, there are no white hairs in it, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
22If it spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague.
23But if the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread, it is the scar from the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
24“Or when the body has a burn from fire on its skin, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a bright spot, reddish-white, or white,
25then the priest shall examine it; and behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is deeper than the skin, it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.
26But if the priest examines it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
27The priest shall examine him on the seventh day. If it has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.
28If the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread in the skin, but is faded, it is the swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the scar from the burn.
29“When a man or woman has a plague on the head or on the beard,
30then the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is an itch. It is leprosy of the head or of the beard.
31If the priest examines the plague of itching, and behold, its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate the person infected with itching seven days.
32On the seventh day the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the appearance of the itch isn’t deeper than the skin,
33then he shall be shaved, but he shall not shave the itch. Then the priest shall isolate the one who has the itch seven more days.
34On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes and be clean.
35But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing,
36then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean.
37But if in his eyes the itch is arrested and black hair has grown in it, then the itch is healed. He is clean. The priest shall pronounce him clean.
38“When a man or a woman has bright spots in the skin of the body, even white bright spots,
39then the priest shall examine them. Behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash. It has broken out in the skin. He is clean.
40“If a man’s hair has fallen from his head, he is bald. He is clean.
41If his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, his forehead is bald. He is clean.
42But if a reddish-white plague is in the bald head or the bald forehead, it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head or his bald forehead.
43Then the priest shall examine him. Behold, if the swelling of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the body,
44he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.
45“The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
46All the days in which the plague is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. His dwelling shall be outside of the camp.
47“The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment;
48whether it is in warp or woof; of linen or of wool; whether in leather, or in anything made of leather;
49if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the leather, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of leather; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest.
50The priest shall examine the plague, and isolate the plague seven days.
51He shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a destructive mildew. It is unclean.
52He shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of leather, in which the plague is, for it is a destructive mildew. It shall be burned in the fire.
53“If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;
54then the priest shall command that they wash the thing that the plague is in, and he shall isolate it seven more days.
55Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.
56If the priest looks, and behold, the plague has faded after it is washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof;
57and if it appears again in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is spreading. You shall burn what the plague is in with fire.
58The garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it is, which you shall wash, if the plague has departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and it will be clean.”
