5Denn die Kinder Israel wandelten vierzig Jahre in der Wüste; bis daß das ganze Volk der Kriegsmänner, die aus Ägypten gezogen waren, umkamen, darum daß sie der Stimme des HERRN nicht gehorchet hatten; wie denn der HERR ihnen geschworen hatte, daß sie das Land nicht sehen sollten, welches der HERR ihren Vätern geschworen hatte, uns zu geben, ein Land, da Milch und Honig innen fleußt.

5Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised.
