Josué 22

Alors Josué appela les Rubénites, les Gadites, et la demi-tribu de Manassé,

ENTONCES Josué llamó á los Rubenitas y á los Gaditas, y á la media tribu de Manasés,

Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh,

Et il leur dit: Vous avez observé tout ce que vous avait commandé Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, et vous m'avez obéi en tout ce que je vous ai commandé.

Y díjoles: Vosotros habéis guardado todo lo que Moisés siervo de Jehová os mandó, y habéis obedecido á mi voz en todo lo que os he mandado.

And said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you:

and said to them, “You have kept all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, and have listened to my voice in all that I commanded you.

Vous n'avez pas abandonné vos frères, pendant ce longtemps, jusqu'à ce jour; et vous avez observé le commandement de l'Éternel votre Dieu.

No habéis dejado á vuestros hermanos en estos muchos días hasta hoy, antes habéis guardado la observancia de los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios.

Ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God.

You have not left your brothers these many days to this day, but have performed the duty of the commandment of the LORD your God.

Et maintenant l'Éternel votre Dieu a donné du repos à vos frères, comme il le leur avait dit. Retournez donc maintenant, et allez-vous-en à vos tentes, au pays qui est votre propriété, que Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, vous a donné au delà du Jourdain.

Ahora pues que Jehová vuestro Dios ha dado reposo á vuestros hermanos, como se lo había prometido, volved, y tornad á vuestras tiendas, á la tierra de vuestras posesiones, que Moisés siervo de Jehová os dió de la otra parte del Jordán.

And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan.

Now the LORD your God has given rest to your brothers, as he spoke to them. Therefore now return and go to your tents, to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you beyond the Jordan.

Seulement prenez bien garde de pratiquer le commandement et la loi que Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, vous a prescrits: d'aimer l'Éternel votre Dieu, de marcher dans toutes ses voies, de garder ses commandements, et de s'attacher à lui, et de le servir de tout votre cœur et de toute votre âme.

Solamente que con diligencia cuidéis de poner por obra el mandamiento y la ley, que Moisés siervo de Jehová os intimó: que améis á Jehová vuestro Dios, y andéis en todos sus caminos; que guardéis sus mandamientos, y os alleguéis á él, y le sirváis de todo vuestro corazón y de toda vuestra alma.

But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Et Josué les bénit et les renvoya; et ils s'en allèrent à leurs tentes.

Or, Moïse avait donné à une moitié de la tribu de Manassé un héritage en Bassan, et Josué donna à l'autre moitié un héritage avec leurs frères, de ce côté-ci du Jourdain, vers l'Occident. Au reste, quand Josué les renvoya vers leurs tentes, il les bénit et leur dit:

También á la media tribu de Manasés había dado Moisés posesión en Basán; mas á la otra media dió Josué heredad entre sus hermanos de estotra parte del Jordán al occidente: y también á éstos envió Josué á sus tiendas, después de haberlos bendecido.

Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them,

Vous retournez à vos tentes avec de grandes richesses et avec un bétail fort nombreux; avec de l'or, de l'argent, de l'airain, du fer, des vêtements en grande abondance: partagez avec vos frères le butin de vos ennemis.

Y hablóles, diciendo: Volveos á vuestras tiendas con grandes riquezas, y con grande copia de ganado, con plata, y con oro, y metal, y muchos vestidos: partid con vuestros hermanos el despojo de vuestros enemigos.

And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.

and spoke to them, saying, “Return with much wealth to your tents, with very much livestock, with silver, with gold, with bronze, with iron, and with very much clothing. Divide the plunder of your enemies with your brothers.”

Les enfants de Ruben, les enfants de Gad, et la demi-tribu de Manassé retournèrent donc et s'en allèrent de Silo, qui est dans le pays de Canaan, d'avec les enfants d'Israël, pour aller au pays de Galaad, dans le pays de leur propriété, dont ils avaient été mis en possession selon le commandement de l'Éternel par l'organe de Moïse.

Y los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, se tornaron, y partiéronse de los hijos de Israel, de Silo, que está en la tierra de Canaán, para ir á la tierra de Galaad, á la tierra de sus posesiones, de la cual eran poseedores, según la palabra de Jehová por mano de Moisés.

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

Or ils vinrent aux districts du Jourdain qui sont dans le pays de Canaan; et les enfants de Ruben, les enfants de Gad et la demi-tribu de Manassé bâtirent là un autel, près du Jourdain, autel de grande apparence.

Y llegando á los términos del Jordán, que está en la tierra de Canaán, los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, edificaron allí un altar junto al Jordán, un altar de grande apariencia.

And when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.

Et les enfants d'Israël apprirent qu'on disait: Voici, les enfants de Ruben, les enfants de Gad et la demi-tribu de Manassé ont bâti un autel, en face du pays de Canaan, dans les districts du Jourdain, du côté des enfants d'Israël.

Y los hijos de Israel oyeron decir como los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, habían edificado un altar delante de la tierra de Canaán, en los términos del Jordán, al paso de los hijos de Israel:

And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.

The children of Israel heard this, “Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar along the border of the land of Canaan, in the region around the Jordan, on the side that belongs to the children of Israel.”

Les enfants d'Israël entendirent donc cela; et toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël s'assembla à Silo pour monter et leur faire la guerre.

Lo cual como los hijos de Israel oyeron, juntóse toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel en Silo, para subir á pelear contra ellos.

And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,

Et avec lui dix chefs, un chef par maison de pères pour chacune des tribus d'Israël; chacun d'eux était chef de maison de pères parmi les milliers d'Israël.

Y á diez príncipes con él; un príncipe de cada casa paterna de todas las tribus de Israel, cada uno de los cuales era cabeza de familia de sus padres en la multitud de Israel.

And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.

Ils vinrent donc vers les enfants de Ruben, vers les enfants de Gad et vers la demi-tribu de Manassé, au pays de Galaad; et il leur parlèrent, en disant:

Los cuales vinieron á los hijos de Rubén y á los hijos de Gad, y á la media tribu de Manasés, en la tierra de Galaad; y habláronles, diciendo:

And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,

Ainsi a dit toute l'assemblée de l'Éternel: Quel est ce forfait que vous avez commis contre le Dieu d'Israël? Pourquoi vous détourner aujourd'hui de l'Éternel, en vous bâtissant un autel, pour vous révolter aujourd'hui contre l'Éternel?

Toda la congregación de Jehová dice así: ¿Qué transgresión es ésta con que prevaricáis contra el Dios de Israel, volviéndoos hoy de seguir á Jehová, edificándoos altar para ser hoy rebeldes contra Jehová?

Thus saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against the LORD?

“The whole congregation of the LORD says, ‘What trespass is this that you have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away today from following the LORD, in that you have built yourselves an altar, to rebel today against the LORD?

L'iniquité de Péor, dont nous ne sommes pas purifiés jusqu'à ce jour et qui attira la plaie sur l'assemblée de l'Éternel, est-elle peu de chose pour nous,

¿Nos ha sido poco la maldad de Peor, de la que no estamos aún limpios hasta este día, por la cual fué la mortandad en la congregación de Jehová?

Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we are not cleansed until this day, although there was a plague in the congregation of the LORD,

Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we have not cleansed ourselves to this day, although there came a plague on the congregation of the LORD,

Que vous vous détourniez aujourd'hui de l'Éternel? Vous vous révoltez aujourd'hui contre l'Éternel, et demain il se courroucera contre toute l'assemblée d'Israël.

Y vosotros os volvéis hoy de seguir á Jehová; mas será que vosotros os rebelaréis hoy contra Jehová, y mañana se airará él contra toda la congregación de Israel.

But that ye must turn away this day from following the LORD? and it will be, seeing ye rebel to day against the LORD, that to morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel.

that you must turn away today from following the LORD? It will be, since you rebel today against the LORD, that tomorrow he will be angry with the whole congregation of Israel.

Toutefois, si la terre que vous possédez est souillée, passez dans la terre que l'Éternel possède, où est établie la Demeure de l'Éternel, et prenez possession parmi nous; mais ne vous révoltez point contre l'Éternel, et ne vous séparez point de nous, en vous bâtissant un autel outre l'autel de l'Éternel notre Dieu.

Que si os parece que la tierra de vuestra posesión es inmunda, pasaos á la tierra de la posesión de Jehová, en la cual está el tabernáculo de Jehová, y tomad posesión entre nosotros; pero no os rebeléis contra Jehová, ni os rebeléis contra nosotros, edificándoos altar á más del altar de Jehová nuestro Dios.

Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD’s tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God.

However, if the land of your possession is unclean, then pass over to the land of the possession of the LORD, in which the LORD’s tabernacle dwells, and take possession among us; but don’t rebel against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building an altar other than the LORD our God’s altar.

Acan, fils de Zérach, ne commit-il pas un forfait au sujet de l'interdit, et le courroux de l'Éternel ne s'alluma-t-il pas contre toute l'assemblée d'Israël? Et cet homme n'expira pas seul pour son iniquité.

¿No cometió Achân, hijo de Zera, prevaricación en el anatema, y vino ira sobre toda la congregación de Israel? y aquel hombre no pereció solo en su iniquidad.

Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.

Mais les enfants de Ruben, les enfants de Gad, et la demi-tribu de Manassé répondirent et dirent aux chefs des milliers d'Israël:

Entonces los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, respondieron y dijeron á los principales de la multitud de Israel:

Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the heads of the thousands of Israel,

Dieu, Dieu, l'Éternel, Dieu, Dieu, l'Éternel, le sait, et Israël le saura! Si c'est par rébellion, si c'est par un forfait contre l'Éternel, ne nous viens point en aide en ce jour!

El Dios de los dioses, Jehová, el Dios de los dioses, Jehová, él sabe, y sabrá Israel: si por rebelión ó por prevaricación contra Jehová (no nos salves hoy,)

The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,)

“The Mighty One, God, the LORD, the Mighty One, God, the LORD, he knows; and Israel shall know: if it was in rebellion, or if in trespass against the LORD (don’t save us today),

Si nous nous sommes bâti un autel pour nous détourner de l'Éternel, si c'est pour y offrir des holocaustes et des oblations, et si c'est pour y faire des sacrifices de prospérité, que l'Éternel lui-même en redemande compte,

Nos hemos edificado altar para tornarnos de en pos de Jehová, ó para sacrificar holocausto ó presente, ó para hacer sobre él sacrificios pacíficos, el mismo Jehová nos lo demande.

That we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it;

that we have built us an altar to turn away from following the LORD; or if to offer burnt offering or meal offering, or if to offer sacrifices of peace offerings, let the LORD himself require it.

Si nous ne l'avons fait, au contraire, parce que nous avons craint ceci, que vos enfants ne disent demain à nos enfants: Qu'avez-vous de commun avec l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël?

Asimismo, si no lo hicimos por temor de esto, diciendo: Mañana vuestros hijos dirán á nuestros hijos: ¿Qué tenéis vosotros con Jehová el Dios de Israel?;

And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?

“If we have not out of concern done this, and for a reason, saying, ‘In time to come your children might speak to our children, saying, “What have you to do with the LORD, the God of Israel?

L'Éternel a mis le Jourdain pour limite entre nous et vous, enfants de Ruben et enfants de Gad; vous n'avez point de part à l'Éternel! Et ainsi vos enfants feraient que nos enfants cesseraient de craindre l'Éternel.

Jehová ha puesto por término el Jordán entre nosotros y vosotros, oh hijos de Rubén é hijos de Gad; no tenéis vosotros parte en Jehová: y así vuestros hijos harán que nuestros hijos no teman á Jehová.

For the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD.

For the LORD has made the Jordan a border between us and you, you children of Reuben and children of Gad. You have no portion in the LORD.”’ So your children might make our children cease from fearing the LORD.

C'est pourquoi, nous avons dit: Bâtissons-nous un autel, non pour des holocaustes ni pour des sacrifices,

Por esto dijimos: Hagamos ahora por edificarnos un altar, no para holocausto ni para sacrificio,

Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice:

“Therefore we said, ‘Let’s now prepare to build ourselves an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice;

Mais comme un témoin entre nous et vous, et entre nos descendants après nous, que nous pratiquons le culte de l'Éternel devant sa face, par nos holocaustes, nos sacrifices d'expiation et nos sacrifices de prospérité, afin que vos enfants ne disent pas dans l'avenir à nos enfants: Vous n'avez point de part à l'Éternel!

Sino para que sea un testimonio entre nosotros y vosotros, y entre los que vendrán después de nosotros, de que podemos hacer el servicio de Jehová delante de él con nuestros holocaustos, con nuestros sacrificios, y con nuestros pacíficos; y no digan mañana vuestros hijos á los nuestros: Vosotros no tenéis parte en Jehová.

But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD.

but it will be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we may perform the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings;’ that your children may not tell our children in time to come, ‘You have no portion in the LORD.’

Et nous avons dit: Lorsqu'ils nous tiendront ce discours, ou à nos descendants dans l'avenir, nous dirons: Voyez la forme de l'autel de l'Éternel, que nos pères ont fait non pour des holocaustes ni pour des sacrifices, mais afin qu'il soit témoin entre nous et vous.

Nosotros, pues, dijimos: Si aconteciere que tal digan á nosotros, ó á nuestras generaciones en lo por venir, entonces responderemos: Mirad el símil del altar de Jehová, el cual hicieron nuestros padres, no para holocaustos ó sacrificios, sino para que fuese testimonio entre nosotros y vosotros.

Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you.

“Therefore we said, ‘It shall be, when they tell us or our generations this in time to come, that we shall say, “Behold the pattern of the LORD’s altar, which our fathers made, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice; but it is a witness between us and you.”’

Loin de nous la pensée de nous révolter contre l'Éternel, et de nous détourner aujourd'hui de l'Éternel, en bâtissant un autel pour des holocaustes, pour des oblations et pour des sacrifices, outre l'autel de l'Éternel notre Dieu, qui est devant sa Demeure!

Nunca tal acontezca que nos rebelemos contra Jehová, ó que nos apartemos hoy de seguir á Jehová, edificando altar para holocaustos, para presente, ó para sacrificio, á más del altar de Jehová nuestro Dios que está delante de su tabernáculo.

God forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the LORD our God that is before his tabernacle.

“Far be it from us that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn away today from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offering, for meal offering, or for sacrifice, besides the LORD our God’s altar that is before his tabernacle!”

Or, quand Phinées, le sacrificateur, les principaux de l'assemblée, les chefs des milliers d'Israël, qui étaient avec lui, eurent entendu les paroles que prononcèrent les enfants de Ruben, les enfants de Gad et les enfants de Manassé, ils furent satisfaits.

Y oyendo Phinees el sacerdote y los príncipes de la congregación, y las cabezas de la multitud de Israel que con él estaban, las palabras que hablaron los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Manasés, fueron contentos de ello.

And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them.

When Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation, even the heads of the thousands of Israel that were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spoke, it pleased them well.

Et Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, le sacrificateur, dit aux enfants de Ruben, aux enfants de Gad, et aux enfants de Manassé: Nous connaissons aujourd'hui que l'Éternel est au milieu de nous, puisque vous n'avez point commis ce forfait contre l'Éternel; maintenant vous avez délivré les enfants d'Israël de la main de l'Éternel.

Y dijo Phinees hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, á los hijos de Rubén, á los hijos de Gad, y á los hijos de Manasés: Hoy hemos entendido que Jehová está entre nosotros, pues que no habéis intentado esta traición contra Jehová. Ahora habéis librado á los hijos de Israel de la mano de Jehová.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the LORD is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the LORD: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the LORD.

Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said to the children of Reuben, to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, “Today we know that the LORD is among us, because you have not committed this trespass against the LORD. Now you have delivered the children of Israel out of the LORD’s hand.”

Ainsi Phinées, fils d'Éléazar le sacrificateur, et les chefs s'en retournèrent d'avec les enfants de Ruben, et d'avec les enfants de Gad, du pays de Galaad au pays de Canaan, vers les enfants d'Israël, et leur rendirent compte.

Y Phinees hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, y los príncipes, volviéronse de con los hijos de Rubén, y de con los hijos de Gad, de la tierra de Galaad á la tierra de Canaán, á los hijos de Israel: á los cuales dieron la respuesta.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again.
