1Da traten die Familienhäupter der Leviten zu Eleasar, dem Priester, und zu Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, und zu den Stammhäuptern der israelitischen Stämme
2und sprachen zu ihnen in Silo im Lande Kanaan also: Jahwe hat durch Mose befohlen, uns Städte zu Wohnsitzen und die zugehörigen Weidetriften für unser Vieh abzutreten.
3Da übergaben die Israeliten auf das Geheiß Jahwes den Leviten von ihrem Erbbesitze die nachfolgenden Städte samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften.
4Und es kam das Los für die Geschlechter der Kahathiter heraus; und zwar erhielten unter den Leviten die Nachkommen Aarons, des Priesters, vom Stamme Juda und vom Stamme der Simeoniten und vom Stamme Benjamin durch das Los dreizehn Städte.
5Die übrigen Nachkommen Kahaths aber erhielten von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Ephraim und vom Stamme Dan und vom halben Stamm Manasse durch das Los zehn Städte.
6Die Nachkommen Gersons erhielten von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Issachar und vom Stamme Asser und vom Stamme Naphthali und vom halben Stamm Manasse in Basan durch das Los dreizehn Städte.
7Die verschiedenen Geschlechter der Nachkommen Meraris erhielten vom Stamme Ruben und vom Stamme Gad und vom Stamme Sebulon zwölf Städte.
8Und zwar übergaben die Israeliten den Leviten die erwähnten Städte samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften auf Grund des Loses, wie Jahwe durch Mose befohlen hatte.
9Sie traten aber vom Stamme der Judäer und vom Stamme der Simeoniten folgende namentlich benannte Städte ab.
10Von den Geschlechtern der Kahathiter unter den Nachkommen Levis erhielten die Nachkommen Aarons - denn auf sie fiel zuerst das Los -,
11und man trat ihnen ab die Stadt Arbas, des Vaters Enaks, das ist Hebron, auf dem Gebirge Juda samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften rings um sie her.
12Die zu der Stadt gehörenden Äcker aber und die zugehörigen Dörfer übergaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohne Jephunnes, als ihm zufallenden Erbbesitz.
13Den Nachkommen Aarons, des Priesters, aber übergaben sie die Zufluchtsstadt für Totschläger, Hebron, samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Libna samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
14Jattir samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Esthemoa samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
15Holon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Debir samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
16Asan samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Jutta samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Beth Semes samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - neun Städte von seiten der genannten beiden Stämme.
17Und vom Stamme Benjamin: Gibeon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Geba samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
18Anathoth samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Almon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
19Es erhielten somit die Nachkommen Aarons, die Priester, insgesamt dreizehn Städte samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften.
20Und was die Geschlechter der zu den Leviten zählenden Nachkommen Kahaths, betrifft, so wurden die Städte, die ihnen durch das Los zufielen, vom Stamme Ephraim abgetreten.
21Und zwar trat man ihnen ab: die Zufluchtsstadt für Totschläger, Sichem, samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, Geser samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
22Kibzaim samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, und Beth Horon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
23Und vom Stamme Dan: Eltheke samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Gibbethon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
24Ajalon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Gath Rimmon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
25Und vom halben Stamme Manasse: Thaanach samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Jibleam samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - zwei Städte.
26Es erhielten somit die Geschlechter der übrigen Nachkommen Kahaths insgesamt zehn Städte samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften.
27Weiter erhielten unter den Geschlechtern der Leviten die Nachkommen Gersons vom halben Stamm Manasse: die Zufluchtsstadt für Totschläger, Golan in Basan, samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Beesthera samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - zwei Städte.
28Und vom Stamme Issachar Kisjon samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Daberath samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
29Jarmuth samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und En Gannim samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
30Und vom Stamme Asser: Miseal samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Rehob samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
31Helkath samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Rehob samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
32Und vom Stamme Naphtali: die Zufluchtstadt für Totschläger, Kedes im Galil, samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Hammoth Dor samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Karthan samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - drei Städte.
33Es erhielten somit die verschiedenen Geschlechter der Gersoniter insgesamt dreizehn Städte samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften.
34Die Geschlechter der Nachkommen Meraris aber, der noch übrigen Leviten, erhielten vom Stamme Sebulon: Jokneam samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Kartha samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
35Dimna samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Nahalal samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
36Und vom Stamme Ruben: die Zufluchtstadt für Totschläger, Bezer in der Steppe, samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Jahza samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
37Kedemoth samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften und Mephaat samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - vier Städte.
38Und vom Stamme Gad: die Zufluchtstadt für Totschläger, Ramoth in Gilead, samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften, Mahanaim samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften,
39Hesbon samt den zugehörigenWeidetriften und Jaeser samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften - insgesamt vier Städte.
40So erhielten die verschiedenen Geschlechter der Nachkommen Meraris, die noch übrig waren von den Geschlechtern der Leviten, als Anteil, der ihnen durch das Los zufiel, insgesamt zwölf Städte.
41Es waren also der Levitenstädte inmitten des Erbbesitzes der Israeliten achtundvierzig samt den zugehörigen Weidetriften rings um sie her; dies gilt von allen den genannten Städten.
42Es bestanden aber die genannten Städte jedesmal in einer Stadt und den zugehörigen Weidetriften rings um sie her; dies gilt von allen den genannten Städten.
43Und Jahwe verlieh Israel das ganze Land, dessen verleihun er ihremn Vätern eidlich verheißen hatte, und sie nahmen es in Besitz und siedelten sich darin an.
44Und Jahwe verschaffte ihnen ringsum Ruhe, ganz wie er ihren Vätern geschworen hatte. Keiner von allen ihren Feinden hielt gegen sie stand; Jahwe gab alle ihre Feinde in ihre Gewalt.
45Von allen den Verheißungen, die Jahwe dem Hause Israel gegeben hatte, war keine hinfällig geworden: alles war in Erfüllung gegangen.

1Y LOS principales de los padres de los Levitas vinieron á Eleazar sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los principales de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;
2Y habláronles en Silo en la tierra de Canaán, diciendo: Jehová mandó por Moisés que nos fuesen dadas villas para habitar, con sus ejidos para nuestras bestias.
3Entonces los hijos de Israel dieron á los Levitas de sus posesiones, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, estas villas con sus ejidos.
4Y salió la suerte por las familias de los Coathitas; y fueron dadas por suerte á los hijos de Aarón sacerdote, que eran de los Levitas, por la tribu de Judá, por la de Simeón y por la de Benjamín, trece villas.
5Y á los otros hijos de Coath se dieron por suerte diez villas de las familias de la tribu de Ephraim, y de la tribu de Dan, y de la media tribu de Manasés;
6Y á los hijos de Gersón, por las familias de la tribu de Issachâr, y de la tribu de Aser, y de la tribu de Nephtalí, y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán, fueron dadas por suerte trece villas.
7A los hijos de Merari por sus familias se dieron doce villas por la tribu de Rubén, y por la tribu de Gad, y por la tribu de Zabulón.
8Y así dieron por suerte los hijos de Israel á los Levitas estas villas con sus ejidos, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés.
9Y de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón dieron estas villas que fueron nombradas:
10Y la primera suerte fué de los hijos de Aarón, de la familia de Coath, de los hijos de Leví;
11A los cuales dieron Chîriath-arba, del padre de Anac, la cual es Hebrón, en el monte de Judá, con sus ejidos en sus contornos.
12Mas el campo de aquesta ciudad y sus aldeas dieron á Caleb hijo de Jephone, por su posesión.
13Y á los hijos de Aarón sacerdote dieron la ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, á Hebrón con sus ejidos; y á Libna con sus ejidos,
14Y á Jattir con sus ejidos, y á Estemoa con sus ejidos,
15A Helón con sus ejidos, y á Debir con sus ejidos,
16A Ain con sus ejidos, á Jutta con sus ejidos, y á Beth-semes con sus ejidos; nueve villas de estas dos tribus:
17Y de la tribu de Benjamín, á Gibeón con sus ejidos, á Geba con sus ejidos,

23Y de la tribu de Dan á Eltheco con sus ejidos, á Gibethón con sus ejidos,
24A Ayalón con sus ejidos, á Gath-rimmón con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
25Y de la media tribu de Manasés, á Taanach con sus ejidos, y á Gath-rimmón con sus ejidos: dos villas.
26Todas las villas para el resto de las familias de los hijos de Coath fueron diez con sus ejidos.
27A los hijos de Gersón de las familias de los Levitas, dieron la villa de refugio para los homicidas, de la media tribu de Manasés: á Gaulón en Basán con sus ejidos, y á Bosra con sus ejidos: dos villas.
28Y de la tribu de Issachâr, á Cesión con sus ejidos, á Dabereth con sus ejidos,
29A Jarmuth con sus ejidos, y á En-gannim con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
30Y de la tribu de Aser, á Miseal con sus ejidos, á Abdón con sus ejidos,
31A Helchâth con sus ejidos, y á Rehob con sus ejidos: cuatro villas:
32Y de la tribu de Nephtalí, la villa de refugio para los homicidas, á Cedes en Galilea con sus ejidos, á Hammoth-dor con sus ejidos, y á Cartán con sus ejidos: tres villas:

43Así dió Jehová á Israel toda la tierra que había jurado dar á sus padres; y poseyéronla, y habitaron en ella.
44Y Jehová les dió reposo alrededor, conforme á todo lo que había jurado á sus padres: y ninguno de todos los enemigos les paró delante, sino que Jehová entregó en sus manos á todos sus enemigos.
45No faltó palabra de todas la buenas que habló Jehová á la casa de Israel; todo se cumplió.

1Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.
4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

9And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,
10Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.
11And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.
12But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

40So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.
41All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.
42These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
43And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

1Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
2They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “The LORD commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.”
3The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of the LORD, these cities with their pasture lands.
4The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
5The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
6The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
8The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as the LORD commanded by Moses.

11They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak (also called Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.

41All the cities of the Levites among the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.
42Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.
43So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
44The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
