9Telles sont les villes qui furent choisies pour les fils d'Israël, et pour le prosélyte résidant parmi eux, afin de servir de refuge à tout homme qui porterait involontairement un coup mortel, et afin qu'il ne pérît pas, de la main du vengeur de sang, avant d'avoir comparu en jugement devant la synagogue.

9Estas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que morase entre ellos, para que se acogiese á ellas cualquiera que hiriese hombre por yerro, y no muriese por mano del cercano del muerto, hasta que compareciese delante del ayuntamiento.
