48Les fils de Dan se mirent donc en campagne, et ils portèrent la guerre sous les murs de Lachis ; ils la prirent, la passèrent au fil de l'épée et l'habitèrent ; ils lui donnèrent le nom qu'elle porte, Lasen-Dan. Toutefois, l'Amorrhéen continua de demeurer en Elom et en Salamin. Puis, la main d'Ephraïm s'appesantit sur lui, et il devint tributaire.
