47Als das Gebiet den Daniten später zu enge wurde, zogen sie hinauf und bekriegten Lesem (Lais); und nachdem sie es erobert und die Einwohner mit der Schärfe des Schwertes niedergemacht hatten, nahmen sie es in Besitz, siedelten sich dort an und gaben Lesem den Namen »Dan« nach ihrem Stammvater Dan.
