1Die ganze israelitische Gemeinde versammelte sich nun zu Silo. Und dort stellten sie das Festgezelt auf. Das Land aber lag unterworfen vor ihnen.
2Unter den Israeliten waren aber noch sieben Stämme übrig, die noch keinen Erbbesitz erhalten hatten.
3Da sprach Josue zu den Israeliten: "Wie lange zögert ihr noch, hinzugehen und das Land zu besetzen, das euch der Herr, eurer Väter Gott, gegeben?
4Bringet drei Männer aus jedem Stamm, so sende ich sie aus, und sie sollen sich aufmachen, das Land durchziehen und es aufschreiben nach der Größe ihres Besitzes! Dann sollen sie zu mir kommen!
5Hierauf sollen sie es in sieben Teile teilen! Juda behält sein Gebiet im Süden, das Josephshaus im Norden.
6Ihr aber zeichnet das Land in sieben Teilen auf und berichtet mir hierher! Dann werfe ich hier vor dem Herrn, unserem Gott, das Los für euch.
7Denn die Leviten haben kein Teil bei euch; vielmehr ist des Herrn Priestertum ihr Erbe. Gad aber und Ruben sowie der Halbstamm Manasse haben jenseits, östlich des Jordan ihren Erbbesitz erhalten, den ihnen des Herrn Diener, Moses, angewiesen hat."
8Da machten sich die Männer auf und gingen. Die Ausziehenden hieß Josue das Land aufzeichnen, indem er sprach: "Geht hin! Durchzieht das Land! Zeichnet es auf! Dann kommt wieder zu mir! Ich werfe dann hier vor dem Herrn zu Silo für euch das Los!"
9Da gingen die Männer, durchzogen das Land und zeichneten es Stadt für Stadt in sieben Teilen in ein Buch. Dann kamen sie zu Josue in das Lager nach Silo.
10Da warf Josue zu Silo vor dem Herrn für sie das Los. So verteilte Josue dort den Israeliten das Land nach ihren Abteilungen.
11Da kam das Los des Stammes der Benjaminsöhne für seine Sippen heraus. Das Gebiet ihres Loses lag zwischen den Judäern und den Josephsöhnen.
12Ihre Grenze ging nördlich vom Jordan aus. Dann zog sich die Grenze aufwärts zu dem Bergrücken nördlich von Jericho und weiter hinauf auf das Gebirge nach Westen zu und lief nach der Steppe von Bet Awen aus.
13Von da ging die Grenze nach Luz hinüber, auf die Südseite des Bergrückens von Luz, das ist Betel. Dann stieg die Grenze nach Aterot Addar hinab, dann auf den Berg südlich vom unteren Bet Choron.
14Dann bog die Grenze um und wandte sich auf ihrer Westseite nach Süden, von dem Berg aus, der südlich von Bet Choron liegt, und endete bei Kirjat Baal, das ist die judäische Stadt Kirjat Jearim. Das ist die Westseite.
15Die Südgrenze lief von der Stadtgrenze Kirjat Jearims aus. Dann ging die Grenze westwärts bis zur Quelle des Nephtoachwassers.
16Dann lief die Grenze hinab bis ans Ende des Berges, östlich vom Ben-Hinnomstal und nördlich der Rephaimebene. Dann lief sie ins Hinnomstal hinab südlich vom Bergrücken der Jebusiter und weiter hinab zur Rogelquelle.
17Dann bog sie nach Norden und lief auf die Quelle von Semes zu. Dann lief sie zu den Gelilot, gegenüber der Steige von Adummim, und zog sich zum Felsen des Rubensohnes Bohan hinab
18und hinüber zu dem Bergrücken, nördlich der Steppe gegenüber. Dann lief sie in die Steppe hinab.
19Dann ging die Grenze hinüber bis nördlich vom Bergrücken von Bet Chogla. Die Grenze endete an der Nordspitze des Salzmeeres, am Südende des Jordan. Das ist die Südgrenze.
20Auf der Ostseite war der Jordan ihre Grenze. Das sind die Grenzen rings um den Erbbesitz der Benjaminitensippen.
21Die Städte der Sippen des Benjaminitenstammes waren: Jericho, Bet Chogla, Kesistal,
22Bet Haaraba, Semaraim, Betel,
23Awim, Happara, Ophra,
24Kephar Haammoni, Haophni und Geba, zwölf Städte mit ihren Dörfern.
25Gibeon, Harama, Beerot,
26Hammispe, Hakkephira, Hammosa,
27Rekem, Irpeel, Tarala,
28Sela, Haeleph und die Jebusiterstadt, das ist Jerusalem, Gibeat und Kirjat Arim,, vierzehn Städte mit ihren Dörfern. Das ist der Erbbesitz der Benjaminitensippen.

1Y TODA la congregación de los hijos de Israel se juntó en Silo, y asentaron allí el tabernáculo del testimonio, después que la tierra les fué sujeta.
2Mas habían quedado en los hijos de Israel siete tribus, á las cuales aun no habían repartido su posesión.
3Y Josué dijo á los hijos de Israel: ¿Hasta cuándo seréis negligentes para venir á poseer la tierra que os ha dado Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres?
4Señalad tres varones de cada tribu, para que yo los envíe, y que ellos se levanten, y recorran la tierra, y la describan conforme á sus heredades, y se tornen á mí.
5Y la dividirán en siete partes: y Judá estará en su término al mediodía, y los de la casa de José estarán en el suyo al norte.
6Vosotros, pues, delinearéis la tierra en siete partes, y me traeréis la descripción aquí, y yo os echaré las suertes aquí delante de Jehová nuestro Dios.
7Empero los Levitas ninguna parte tienen entre vosotros; porque el sacerdocio de Jehová es la heredad de ellos: Gad también y Rubén, y la media tribu de Manasés, ya han recibido su heredad de la otra parte del Jordán al oriente, la cual les dió Moisés siervo de Jehová.
8Levantándose pues aquellos varones, fueron: y mandó Josué á los que iban para delinear la tierra, diciéndoles: Id, recorred la tierra, y delineadla, y tornad á mí, para que yo os eche las suertes aquí delante de Jehová en Silo.
9Fueron pues aquellos varones y pasearon la tierra, delineándola por ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y tornaron á Josué al campo en Silo.
10Y Josué les echó las suertes delante de Jehová en Silo; y allí repartió Josué la tierra á los hijos de Israel por sus porciones.
11Y sacóse la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias: y salió el término de su suerte entre los hijos de Judá y los hijos de José.
12Y fué el término de ellos al lado del norte desde el Jordán: y sube aquel término al lado de Jericó al norte; sube después al monte hacia el occidente, y viene á salir al desierto de Beth-aven:
13Y de allí pasa aquel término á Luz, por el lado de Luz (esta es Beth-el) hacia el mediodía. Y desciende este término de Ataroth-addar al monte que está al mediodía de Beth-oron la de abajo.
14Y torna este término, y da vuelta al lado de la mar, al mediodía hasta el monte que está delante de Beth-oron al mediodía; y viene á salir á Chîriath-baal, que es Chîriath-jearim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este es el lado del occidente.
15Y el lado del mediodía es desde el cabo de Chîriath-jearim, y sale el término al occidente, y sale á la fuente de las aguas de Nephtoa:
16Y desciende aqueste término al cabo del monte que está delante del valle del hijo de Hinnom, que está en la campiña de los gigantes hacia el norte: desciende luego al valle de Hinnom, al lado del Jebuseo al mediodía, y de allí desciende á la fuente de Rogel:
17Y del norte torna y sale á Ensemes, y de allí sale á Geliloth, que está delante de la subida de Adummim, y descendía á la piedra de Bohan, hijo de Rubén:
18Y pasa al lado que está delante de la campiña del norte, y desciende á los llanos:
19Y torna á pasar este término por el lado de Beth-hogla hacia el norte, y viene á salir el término á la lengua del mar Salado al norte, al cabo del Jordán al mediodía. Este es el término de hacia el mediodía.
20Y el Jordán acaba aqueste término al lado del oriente. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín por sus términos alrededor, conforme á sus familias.
21Las ciudades de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, por sus familias, fueron Jericó, Beth-hogla, y el valle de Casis,
22Beth-araba, Samaraim, y Beth-el;
23Y Avim, y Para, y Ophra,
24Y Cephar-hammonai, Ophni, y Gaba; doce ciudades con sus aldeas:
25Gabaón, Rama, Beeroth,
26Y Mizpa, Chephira, y Moza,
27Recom, Irpeel y Tarala,
28Y Sela, Eleph, Jebus, que es Jerusalem, Gibeath, y Chîriath; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín, conforme á sus familias.

1And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.
2And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.
3And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
4Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.
5And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north.
6Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
7But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.
8And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.
9And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.
10And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.
11And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
12And their border on the north side was from Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountains westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of Beth-aven.
13And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, which is Beth-el, southward; and the border descended to Ataroth-adar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Beth-horon.
14And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Beth-horon southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjath-baal, which is Kirjath-jearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.
15And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjath-jearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah:
16And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to En-rogel,
17And was drawn from the north, and went forth to En-shemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,
18And passed along toward the side over against Arabah northward, and went down unto Arabah:
19And the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.
20And Jordan was the border of it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families.
21Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Beth-hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,
22And Beth-arabah, and Zemaraim, and Beth-el,
23And Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,
24And Chephar-haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities with their villages:
25Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,
26And Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,
27And Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,
28And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

1The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The land was subdued before them.
2Seven tribes remained among the children of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.
3Joshua said to the children of Israel, “How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?
4Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe. I will send them, and they shall arise, walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; then they shall come to me.
5They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph shall live in their borders on the north.
6You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
7However, the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance east of the Jordan, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.”
8The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before the LORD in Shiloh.”
9The men went and passed through the land, and surveyed it by cities into seven portions in a book. They came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
10Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD. There Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.
11The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. The border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
12Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan. The border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward. It ended at the wilderness of Beth Aven.
13The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (also called Bethel), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.
14The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal (also called Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter.
15The south quarter was from the farthest part of Kiriath Jearim. The border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.
16The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel.
17It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim. It went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
18It passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.
19The border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.
20The Jordan was its border on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders around it, according to their families.
21Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,
22Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,
23Avvim, Parah, Ophrah,
24Chephar Ammoni, Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages.
25Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,
26Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah,
27Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,
