17Während dieser noch redete, kam schon wieder ein anderer und berichtete: »Die Chaldäer sind in drei Heerhaufen, die sie aufgestellt hatten, über die Kamele hergefallen und haben sie weggetrieben; sie haben auch die Knechte mit dem Schwert niedergemacht; ich bin der einzige, der entronnen ist, um es dir zu melden!«

17While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

17While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The Chaldeans made three bands, and swept down on the camels, and have taken them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.”
