Sainte Bible libre pour le monde
1Et Bildad, le Shuhite, prit la parole,
2« Combien de temps allez-vous chercher les mots ? Réfléchissez, et après nous parlerons.
3Pourquoi sommes-nous comptés comme des animaux, qui sont devenus impurs à vos yeux ?
4Toi qui te déchires dans ta colère, la terre sera-t-elle abandonnée pour vous ? Ou bien la pierre sera-t-elle retirée de son emplacement ?
5« Oui, la lumière des méchants sera éteinte. L'étincelle de son feu ne brillera pas.
6La lumière sera sombre dans sa tente. Sa lampe au-dessus de lui sera éteinte.
7Les pas de sa force seront abrégés. Son propre conseil le fera tomber.
8Car il est jeté dans un filet par ses propres pieds, et il s'égare dans ses mailles.
9Un piège le saisit par le talon. Un piège va l'attraper.
10Un nœud coulant est caché pour lui dans le sol, un piège pour lui sur le chemin.
11Des terreurs l'effraieront de toutes parts, et le poursuivra sur ses talons.
12Sa force sera affamée. Calamity sera prêt à ses côtés.
13Les membres de son corps seront dévorés. Le premier-né de la mort dévorera ses membres.
14Il sera déraciné de la sécurité de sa tente. Il sera amené au roi des terreurs.
15Dans sa tente habitera ce qui n'est pas à lui. Le soufre sera répandu sur sa demeure.
16Ses racines seront desséchées par-dessous. Sa branche sera coupée en haut.
17Son souvenir disparaîtra de la terre. Il n'aura pas de nom dans la rue.
18Il sera chassé de la lumière dans les ténèbres, et chassé du monde.
19Il n'aura ni fils ni petit-fils parmi son peuple, et aucun ne reste là où il a vécu.
20Ceux qui viendront après seront étonnés de son jour, comme ceux qui les ont précédés ont été effrayés.
21Telles sont les demeures des injustes. C'est la place de celui qui ne connaît pas Dieu. »

1Y RESPONDIÓ Bildad Suhita, y dijo:
2¿Cuándo pondréis fin á las palabras? Entended, y después hablemos.
3¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
4Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿será dejada la tierra por tu causa, y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
5Ciertamente la luz de los impíos será apagada, y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.
6La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, y apagaráse sobre él su lámpara.
7Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
8Porque red será echada en sus pies, y sobre red andará.
9Lazo prenderá su calcañar: afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
10Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
11De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, y haránle huir desconcertado.
12Su fuerza será hambrienta, y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
13El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, y devorará sus miembros.
14Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
15En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
16Abajo se secarán sus raíces, y arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.
17Su memoria perecerá de la tierra, y no tendrá nombre por las calles.
18De la luz será lanzado á las tinieblas, y echado fuera del mundo.
19No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.
20Sobre su día se espantarán los por venir, como ocupó el pavor á los que fueron antes.
21Ciertamente tales son las moradas del impío, y este será el lugar del que no conoció á Dios.
King James Version
1Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
3Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
4He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
5Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
6The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
7The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
8For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
9The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
10The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
11Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
12His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
13It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
14His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
15It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
16His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
17His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
18He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
19He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
20They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
21Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
World English Bible
1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
3Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
4You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place?
5“Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine.
6The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out.
7The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down.
8For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
9A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
10A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path.
11Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels.
12His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side.
13The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members.
14He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors.
15There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation.
16His roots will be dried up beneath. His branch will be cut off above.
17His memory will perish from the earth. He will have no name in the street.
18He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
19He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived.
