29O fole assopra com força o fogo para separar o chumbo com o fogo, mas as impurezas prosseguem em vão — não se separam do metal. Por mais que se esquente o fogo, não é possível separar esse povo de seus pecados.

29The bellows blow fiercely. The lead is consumed in the fire. In vain they go on refining, for the wicked are not plucked away.
