2Drum kommen, wahrlich, Tage", ein Spruch des Herrn, "da laß ich gegen Rabbat in der Ammoniter Land ein Kriegsgeschrei ertönen. Zu Trümmerhaufen wird's, und seine Tochterstädte brennen nieder, und Israel beerbt, die selbst es einst beerbt." So spricht der Herr.

2Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.

2Therefore behold, the days come,” says the LORD, “that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and it will become a desolate heap, and her daughters will be burned with fire; then Israel will possess those who possessed him,” says the LORD.
