28Sei also unbesorgt, mein Diener Jakob!' Ein Spruch des Herrn. 'Ich selber bin bei dir. Den Untergang verhäng ich über all die Völker, wohin ich dich vertrieben habe. Nur über dich verhänge ich ihn nimmermehr. Mit Mäßigung will ich dich züchtigen; doch laß ich dich nicht völlig ungestraft.'"

28Tú, siervo mío Jacob, no temas, dice Jehová; porque yo soy contigo: porque haré consumación en todas las gentes á las cuales te habré echado; mas en ti no haré consumación, sino que te castigaré con juicio, y no te talaré del todo.

28Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

28Don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant,” says the LORD, “for I am with you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you, but I will not make a full end of you, but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”
