16Então Joanã, filho de Careá, e todos os seus comandantes do exército e os seus soldados além de todo o povo que tinham livrado das mãos de Ismael, filho de Netanias, depois que ele tinha assassinado Gedalias, filho de Aicão — os soldados, as mulheres, as crianças e os oficiais da corte, que ele tinha trazido de Gibeom —

16Y Johanán hijo de Carea, y todos los príncipes de la gente de guerra que con él estaban, tomaron todo el resto del pueblo que habían recobrado de Ismael hijo de Nethanías, de Mizpa, después que hirió á Gedalías hijo de Ahicam: hombres de guerra, y mujeres, y niños, y los eunucos que Johanán había hecho tornar de Gabaón;

16Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon:
