17C'est pourquoi, ainsi parle le SEIGNEUR : « Vous ne m'avez pas obéi en proclamant la liberté, chacun pour son frère, chacun pour son prochain. Voici, je proclame pour vous la liberté, déclare le SEIGNEUR, la liberté pour l'épée, pour la peste et pour la famine ! Je ferai de vous un objet d'effroi parmi tous les royaumes de la terre.

17Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Vosotros no me habéis oído en promulgar cada uno libertad á su hermano, y cada uno á su compañero: he aquí que yo os promulgo libertad, dice Jehová, á cuchillo y á pestilencia y á hambre; y os pondré en remoción á todos los reinos de la tierra.

17Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

17Therefore the LORD says: “You have not listened to me, to proclaim liberty, every man to his brother, and every man to his neighbor. Behold, I proclaim to you a liberty,” says the LORD, “to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine. I will make you be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.
