Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

« Va et crie aux oreilles de Jérusalem : “Ainsi parle le SEIGNEUR : Je me souviens de l'amour fidèle de ta jeunesse, de ton amour de jeune mariée, quand tu me suivais dans le désert, dans une terre non ensemencée.
Anda, y clama á los oídos de Jerusalem, diciendo: Así dice Jehová: Heme acordado de ti, de la misericordia de tu mocedad, del amor de tu desposorio, cuando andabas en pos de mí en el desierto, en tierra no sembrada.
Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
“Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘The LORD says, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, your love as a bride, how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
Israël était consacré au SEIGNEUR, les prémices de sa récolte. Tous ceux qui le dévorent se rendent coupables. Le malheur s'abattra sur eux” », dit le SEIGNEUR.
Santidad era Israel á Jehová, primicias de sus nuevos frutos. Todos los que le devoran pecarán; mal vendrá sobre ellos, dice Jehová.
Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.

Ainsi parle le SEIGNEUR : « Quelle injustice vos pères ont-ils trouvée en moi, pour s'éloigner si loin de moi, pour marcher après des idoles sans consistance, et devenir eux-mêmes sans consistance ?
Así dijo Jehová: ¿Qué maldad hallaron en mí vuestros padres, que se alejaron de mí, y se fueron tras la vanidad, y tornáronse vanos?
Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
The LORD says, “What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?
Ils n'ont pas dit : “Où est le SEIGNEUR qui nous a fait monter du pays d'Égypte, qui nous a conduits dans le désert, dans une terre aride et pleine de ravins, dans une terre de sécheresse et d'ombre de la mort, dans une terre où personne ne passe, et où aucun homme n'habite ?”
Y no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová, que nos hizo subir de tierra de Egipto, que nos hizo andar por el desierto, por una tierra desierta y despoblada, por tierra seca y de sombra de muerte, por una tierra por la cual no pasó varón, ni allí habitó hombre?
Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

Je vous ai fait entrer dans un pays fertile, pour que vous en mangiez les fruits et les bonnes choses ; mais quand vous y êtes entrés, vous avez souillé mon pays, et vous avez fait de mon héritage une abomination.
Y os metí en tierra de Carmelo, para que comieseis su fruto y su bien: mas entrasteis, y contaminasteis mi tierra, é hicisteis mi heredad abominable.
And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

Les prêtres n'ont pas dit : “Où est le SEIGNEUR ?” Ceux qui manient la loi ne m'ont pas connu. Les dirigeants se sont rebellés contre moi, les prophètes ont prophétisé par Baal, et ils ont suivi ce qui ne sert à rien.
Los sacerdotes no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová? y los que tenían la ley no me conocieron; y los pastores se rebelaron contra mí, y los profetas profetizaron en Baal, y anduvieron tras lo que no aprovecha.
The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
The priests didn’t say, ‘Where is the LORD?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and followed things that do not profit.
C'est pourquoi je veux encore plaider contre vous », dit le SEIGNEUR, « et je plaiderai contre les enfants de vos enfants.
Por tanto entraré aún en juicio con vosotros, dijo Jehová, y con los hijos de vuestros hijos pleitearé.
Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children’s children will I plead.
“Therefore I will yet contend with you,” says the LORD, “and I will contend with your children’s children.
Traversez donc vers les îles de Kittim, et regardez. Envoyez des messagers à Kédar, observez bien, et voyez s'il est jamais arrivé une chose pareille.
Porque pasad á las islas de Chîttim y mirad; y enviad á Cedar, y considerad cuidadosamente, y ved si se ha hecho cosa semejante á ésta:
For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing.

Y a-t-il une nation qui ait changé ses dieux, bien qu'ils ne soient pas des dieux ? Mais mon peuple a changé sa gloire contre ce qui ne sert à rien.
Si alguna gente ha mudado sus dioses, bien que ellos no son dioses. Pero mi pueblo ha trocado su gloria por lo que no aprovecha.
Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.

Cieux, soyez-en stupéfaits, frémissez d'épouvante. Soyez grandement désolés », dit le SEIGNEUR.
Espantaos, cielos, sobre esto, y horrorizaos; desolaos en gran manera, dijo Jehová.
Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.

Car mon peuple a commis un double mal : ils m'ont abandonné, moi, la source d'eau vive, pour se creuser des citernes, des citernes crevassées qui ne retiennent pas l'eau.
Porque dos males ha hecho mi pueblo: dejáronme á mí, fuente de agua viva, por cavar para sí cisternas, cisternas rotas que no detienen aguas.
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Israël est-il un esclave ? Est-il né dans la servitude ? Pourquoi est-il devenu une proie ?
¿Es Israel siervo? ¿es esclavo? ¿por qué ha sido dado en presa?
Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled?

Les jeunes lions ont rugi contre lui, ils ont donné de la voix. Ils ont réduit son pays en un désert. Ses villes sont incendiées, vidées de leurs habitants.
Los cachorros de los leones bramaron sobre él, dieron su voz; y pusieron su tierra en soledad; quemadas están sus ciudades, sin morador.
The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.

Même les enfants de Memphis et de Tachpanhès t'ont brisé le sommet du crâne.
Aun los hijos de Noph y de Taphnes te quebrantaron la mollera.

Ne t'es-tu pas attiré cela, en abandonnant le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu, au moment où il te conduisait sur le chemin ?
¿No te acarreó esto tu dejar á Jehová tu Dios, cuando te hacía andar por camino?
Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way?
“Haven’t you brought this on yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God, when he led you by the way?
Maintenant, qu'as-tu à gagner en allant en Égypte pour boire les eaux du Shihor ? Ou pourquoi vas-tu sur le chemin de l'Assyrie pour boire les eaux du Fleuve ?
Ahora pues, ¿qué tienes tú en el camino de Egipto, para que bebas agua del Nilo? ¿y qué tienes tú en el camino de Asiria, para que bebas agua del río?
And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
Now what do you gain by going to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or why do you go on the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?
Ta propre méchanceté te châtiera, et tes infidélités te reprendront. Sache donc et vois que c'est une chose mauvaise et amère d'avoir abandonné le SEIGNEUR ton Dieu, et de n'avoir pour moi aucune crainte », dit le Seigneur, le DIEU des Armées.
Tu maldad te castigará, y tu apartamiento te condenará: sabe pues y ve cuán malo y amargo es tu dejar á Jehová tu Dios, y faltar mi temor en ti, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
“Your own wickedness will correct you, and your backsliding will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
« Car il y a longtemps que j'ai brisé ton joug, et rompu tes liens. Tu as dit : “Je ne servirai pas !” Car sur toute colline élevée et sous tout arbre vert, tu t'es couchée, te livrant à la prostitution.
Porque desde muy atrás he quebrado tu yugo, y roto tus ataduras; y dijiste: No serviré. Con todo eso, sobre todo collado alto y debajo de todo árbol umbroso, corrías tú, oh ramera.
For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
“For long ago I broke off your yoke, and burst your bonds. You said, ‘I will not serve;’ for on every high hill and under every green tree you bowed yourself, playing the prostitute.
Pourtant, je t'avais plantée comme une vigne de choix, une semence pure et fidèle. Comment donc t'es-tu changée pour moi en sarments dégénérés d'une vigne étrangère ?
Y yo te planté de buen vidueño, simiente verdadera toda ella: ¿cómo pues te me has tornado sarmientos de vid extraña?
Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?
Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a pure and faithful seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?
Même si tu te laves avec de la potasse, et que tu multiplies le savon, ton iniquité reste marquée devant moi », dit le Seigneur DIEU.
Aunque te laves con lejía, y amontones jabón sobre ti, tu pecado está sellado delante de mí, dijo el Señor Jehová.
For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me,” says the Lord GOD.
« Comment peux-tu dire : “Je ne me suis pas souillée. Je ne suis pas allée après les Baals” ? Regarde ta conduite dans la vallée. Reconnais ce que tu as fait. Tu es un dromadaire léger, qui court çà et là sur ses chemins,
¿Cómo dices: No soy inmunda, nunca anduve tras los Baales? Mira tu proceder en el valle, conoce lo que has hecho, dromedaria ligera que frecuentas sus carreras;
How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
“How can you say, ‘I am not defiled. I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley. Know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways,
une ânesse sauvage habituée au désert, qui hume le vent dans l'ardeur de son désir. Lorsqu'elle est en chaleur, qui pourrait la retenir ? Tous ceux qui la cherchent n'ont pas à se fatiguer. Dans son mois, ils la trouveront.
Asna montés acostumbrada al desierto, que respira como quiere; ¿de su ocasión quién la detendrá? Todos los que la buscaren no se cansarán; hallaránla en su mes.
A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.
a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that sniffs the wind in her craving. When she is in heat, who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves. In her month, they will find her.
Prends garde à ne pas dénuder tes pieds, et à ne pas dessécher ta gorge par la soif. Mais tu as dit : “C'est en vain. Non, car j'aime les étrangers, et j'irai après eux.”
Defiende tus pies de andar descalzos, y tu garganta de la sed. Mas dijiste: Hase perdido la esperanza; en ninguna manera: porque extraños he amado, y tras ellos tengo de ir.
Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
“Keep your feet from being bare, and your throat from thirst. But you said, ‘It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.’
Comme le voleur est couvert de honte lorsqu'il est pris, ainsi la maison d'Israël est couverte de honte : eux, leurs rois, leurs princes, leurs prêtres et leurs prophètes,
Como se avergüenza el ladrón cuando es tomado, así se avergonzarán la casa de Israel, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes, y sus profetas;
As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,

Que dicen al leño: Mi padre eres tú; y á la piedra: Tú me has engendrado: pues me volvieron la cerviz, y no el rostro; y en el tiempo de su trabajo dicen: Levántate, y líbranos.
Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
who tell wood, ‘You are my father,’ and a stone, ‘You have given birth to me,’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face, but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us!’
Mais où sont tes dieux que tu t'es fabriqués ? Qu'ils se lèvent, s'ils peuvent te sauver au temps de ta détresse, car tu as autant de dieux que de villes, ô Juda.
¿Y dónde están tus dioses que hiciste para ti? Levántense, á ver si te podrán librar en el tiempo de tu aflicción: porque según el número de tus ciudades, oh Judá, fueron tus dioses.
But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
“But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble, for you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.
Pourquoi voulez-vous contester avec moi ? Vous vous êtes tous rebellés contre moi », dit le SEIGNEUR.
¿Por qué porfías conmigo? Todos vosotros prevaricasteis contra mí, dice Jehová.
Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.
“Why will you contend with me? You all have transgressed against me,” says the LORD.
« C'est en vain que j'ai frappé vos enfants. Ils n'ont pas accepté la correction. Votre propre épée a dévoré vos prophètes, comme un lion destructeur.
Por demás he azotado vuestros hijos; no han recibido corrección. Cuchillo devoró vuestros profetas como león destrozador.
In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
“I have struck your children in vain. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
Ô génération, considérez la parole du SEIGNEUR. Ai-je été un désert pour Israël ? Ou une terre d'épaisses ténèbres ? Pourquoi mon peuple dit-il : “Nous sommes libres de nos mouvements. Nous ne reviendrons plus vers toi” ?
¡Oh generación! ved vosotros la palabra de Jehová. ¿He sido yo á Israel soledad, ó tierra de tinieblas? ¿Por qué ha dicho mi pueblo: Señores somos; nunca más vendremos á ti?
O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
Generation, consider the LORD’s word. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We have broken loose. We will come to you no more’?
Une jeune fille peut-elle oublier ses parures, ou une mariée sa ceinture ? Pourtant, mon peuple m'a oublié, depuis des jours sans nombre.
¿Olvídase la virgen de su atavío, ó la desposada de sus sartales? mas mi pueblo se ha olvidado de mí por días que no tienen número.
Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.
“Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me for days without number.
Comme tu sais bien tracer ton chemin pour chercher l'amour ! C'est pourquoi tu as même enseigné tes voies aux pires des femmes.
¿Por qué abonas tu camino para hallar amor, pues aun á las malvadas enseñaste tus caminos?
Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.
How well you prepare your way to seek love! Therefore you have even taught the wicked women your ways.
De plus, on trouve sur les pans de tes vêtements le sang des pauvres innocents. Tu ne les as pas surpris en train de faire effraction, mais c'est à cause de toutes ces choses.
Aun en tus faldas se halló la sangre de las almas de los pobres, de los inocentes: no la hallé en excavación, sino en todas estas cosas.
Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
Also the blood of the souls of the innocent poor is found in your skirts. You didn’t find them breaking in, but it is because of all these things.
Pourtant tu as dit : “Je suis innocente. Certainement sa colère s'est détournée de moi.” Voici, je vais entrer en jugement avec toi, parce que tu dis : “Je n'ai pas péché.”
Y dices: Porque soy inocente, de cierto su ira se apartó de mí. He aquí yo entraré en juicio contigo, porque dijiste: No he pecado.
Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.
“Yet you said, ‘I am innocent. Surely his anger has turned away from me.’ “Behold, I will judge you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’
Pourquoi t'empresses-tu tant de changer de chemin ? Tu seras aussi couverte de honte par l'Égypte, comme tu as été couverte de honte par l'Assyrie.
¿Para qué discurres tanto, mudando tus caminos? También serás avergonzada de Egipto, como fuiste avergonzada de Asiria.
Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.
Why do you go about so much to change your ways? You will be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Assyria.
Tu sortiras aussi de là avec tes mains sur la tête ; car le SEIGNEUR a rejeté ceux en qui tu te confies, et tu ne réussiras pas auprès d'eux.
También saldrás de él con tus manos sobre tu cabeza: porque Jehová deshechó tus confianzas, y en ellas no tendrás buen suceso.
Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.
You will also leave that place with your hands on your head; for the LORD has rejected those in whom you trust, and you won’t prosper with them.
