27Pois dizem à madeira: ‘Você é meu pai’ e à pedra: ‘Você é minha mãe’. Vocês viraram as costas para mim, em vez de virarem o rosto para o lado, mas quando chega a hora da aflição, é para mim que eles correm, dizendo: ‘Levante-se e livre-nos!’

27Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

27who tell wood, ‘You are my father,’ and a stone, ‘You have given birth to me,’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face, but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us!’
