9Voilà que je vais prendre et vous envoyer une famille qui viendra de l'aquilon, et je la conduirai contre cette terre et ceux qui l'habitent, et contre tous les gentils qui l'entourent ; et je leur ferai de leurs champs un désert, un lieu de désolation, un sujet de raillerie et d'opprobre éternel.

9He aquí enviaré yo, y tomaré todos los linajes del aquilón, dice Jehová, y á Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, mi siervo, y traerélos contra esta tierra, y contra sus moradores, y contra todas estas naciones en derredor; y los destruiré, y pondrélos por escarnio, y por silbo, y en soledades perpetuas.

9Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
