3Pasur deixou Jeremias preso ao tronco durante toda a noite. Na manhã seguinte, quando Pasur mandou soltá-lo do tronco, Jeremias lhe disse: “O Senhor já não o chama de Pasur. Ele mudou o seu nome; de hoje em diante o seu nome será ‘O Homem Cercado de Terror por Todos os Lados’.

3Y el día siguiente Pashur sacó á Jeremías del cepo. Díjole entonces Jeremías: Jehová no ha llamado tu nombre Pashur, sino Magor-missabib.

3And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magor-missabib.

3On the next day, Pashhur released Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him, “The LORD has not called your name Pashhur, but Magormissabib.
