14Da sprach der Herr zu mir: "Nur Lügen prophezein in meinem Namen die Propheten. Ich habe sie ja nicht gesandt und nicht geheißen und nie zu ihnen je gesprochen. Erlogene Gesichte, eitle Wahrsagung und selbsterdachten Trug, das prophezein sie euch."

14Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

14Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They prophesy to you a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.
