8Aber sie haben nicht gehorcht und mir kein Gehör geschenkt, sondern sind ein jeder nach dem Starrsinn seines eigenen bösen Herzens gewandelt. Deshalb habe ich alle Drohworte dieses Bundes, dessen Beobachtung ich ihnen geboten hatte, an ihnen in Erfüllung gehen lassen, weil sie nicht danach gehandelt hatten.‹«

8Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.
