Los varones de Siquem pusieron emboscadas contra Abimelec en las cumbres de las montañas, quienes robaban a los que pasaban junto a ellos por el camino. De esto se informó a Abimelec.

Y pusiéronle los de Sichêm asechadores en las cumbres de los montes, los cuales salteaban á todos los que pasaban junto á ellos por el camino; de lo que fué dado aviso á Abimelech.
