Y vinieron los hombres de Efraín y le dijeron: ¿Por qué no enviaste por nosotros cuando fuiste a la guerra contra Madián? Y discutieron fuertemente.

Y LOS de Ephraim le dijeron: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho con nosotros, no llamándonos cuando ibas á la guerra contra Madián? Y reconviniéronlo fuertemente.

And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply.

The men of Ephraim said to him, “Why have you treated us this way, that you didn’t call us when you went to fight with Midian?” They rebuked him sharply.

Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men were they whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.

Entonces los hombres de Israel dijeron a Gedeón: Sé nuestro gobernador, tú y tu hijo y el hijo de tu hijo después de él; porque has sido nuestro salvador de las manos de Madián.

Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.
