Les hommes d'Éphraïm lui dirent : « Pourquoi as-tu agi de la sorte envers nous, en ne nous appelant pas lorsque tu es allé combattre Madian ? » Et ils le réprimandèrent violemment.

Y LOS de Ephraim le dijeron: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho con nosotros, no llamándonos cuando ibas á la guerra contra Madián? Y reconviniéronlo fuertemente.

And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply.

The men of Ephraim said to him, “Why have you treated us this way, that you didn’t call us when you went to fight with Midian?” They rebuked him sharply.
