“Ó SENHOR, quando saíste de Seir, quando marchaste desde os campos de Edom, a terra tremeu, e os céus gotejaram. Sim, as nuvens gotejaram água.

Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
Those whose root is in Amalek came out of Ephraim, after you, Benjamin, among your peoples. Governors come down out of Machir. Those who handle the marshal’s staff came out of Zebulun.

“Pela janela ela olhou, e gritou; a mãe de Sísera olhou pela treliça. ‘Por que o seu carro demora tanto a vir? Por que se atrasam as rodas dos seus carros?’
La madre de Sísara se asoma á la ventana, y por entre las celosías á voces dice: ¿Por qué se detiene su carro, que no viene? ¿por qué las ruedas de sus carros se tardan?
The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
“Through the window she looked out, and cried: Sisera’s mother looked through the lattice. ‘Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots wait?’
As suas sábias damas lhe responderam, sim, ela respondeu a si mesma:

Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
‘Have they not found, have they not divided the plunder? A lady, two ladies to every man; to Sisera a plunder of dyed garments, a plunder of dyed garments embroidered, of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the plunder?’
“Assim pereçam todos os teus inimigos, ó SENHOR, mas que aqueles que o amam sejam como o sol quando se levanta em sua força.” Então a terra teve descanso por quarenta anos.
Así perezcan todos tus enemigos, oh Jehová: mas los que le aman, sean como el sol cuando nace en su fuerza. Y la tierra reposó cuarenta años.
So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
